If you use some other store brands of card stock there is more of a texture and it will not produce as crisp of a stamped image.Trudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09673395554720028806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-585939251397436450.post-76275219170403817352014-09-05T11:26:22.483-07:002014-09-05T11:26:22.483-07:00Hi Susanne,
What type of ink pad are you using? I...Hi Susanne,
What type of ink pad are you using? If you are using the old style with the woven top you will get a slight "pattern". If you are using the new foam pads there are several things you can try: You can rub the surface of the stamp with your thumb, this usually helps the ink stay distributed more evenly on the photopolymer stamps. If that doesn't take care of the problem (usually works for me) you might try washing the die with dish soap to make sure any mold release that was used in the manufacturing is removed. If you still have a problem, try using a white eraser on the surface, very gently. Also make sure that your foam ink pad isn't starting to dry out, or that it doesn't have dry spots in the most used areas, just be careful not to over-ink the pad.
If you are having difficulty only when you are doing the baby wipe method, make sure that your baby wipes have a smooth surface, the first ones I tried had dots on the surface and you could see it in the stamped wreath. Also, I always fold my baby wipes so that there are several layers. Let me know if you are still having problems.Trudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09673395554720028806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-585939251397436450.post-47668649007475399502014-09-05T08:50:10.646-07:002014-09-05T08:50:10.646-07:00Hi Trude,
