Chalk Talk Tag and Bag

I made this project to give to all the attendees at my card class last month. It is a CASE from the Stampin' Up! 2013/2014 annual catalog. I just changed the color of the bag and the banner. I also changed the bag's edge finish and used a different Designer Series Paper. They are the perfect size for a bag of Easter jelly beans!

The Chalk Talk stamp set isn't retiring this year, but the little flower sizzlit, the Itty Bitty flower punch from the punch pack and the little leaves sizzlit are all going away. I will miss them, they make cute little accents.

Enjoy the Day!

Gingham Garden Tea Party All Occasion Card

Are you ready for a spring tea party?

Here's another Gingham Garden card. I'm not really stuck in a rut...I am just challenging myself to create many different cards with one Designer Series Paper pack. It is amazing to me how many cards can be created with one single pack of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. I would have to look back to the samples that I created a year ago and figure out how many cards we made in class with this pack of paper to get a good idea of just how many cards can be created with one pack. I am still using the original pack that I purchased!

Here's my card creation for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #133

I received my first batch of Stampin' Up! co-branded Project Life supplies yesterday afternoon. All I can say is, I am so happy! I have used the Becky Higgins Project Life system and have tried incorporating the idea into my Stampin' Up! scrapbook classes, but this will make it SO much easier. I will try to get some samples made up soon so that you can see what it looks like. Actually, I put a video on my Pinterest page that you can view to get a sneak peak. I even made a special Project Life board on my Pinterest where I will be pinning all kinds of ideas very soon. Check it out at http://pinterest.com/stampwithtrude

Enjoy the Day!

Gingham Garden Encouragement Card

I created a card for the Sunday Stamps Challenge that continued the use of the Gingham Garden DSP. The Gingham Garden paper pack is perfect for spring cards and other paper projects. It will be fun to see what new spring papers that Stampin' Up! will have in the new catalog when it comes out in June.

I used the bird from the Backyard Basics set and then when I checked the retired list this morning I found out that the Backyard Basic set is sold out and no longer available. I like this bird because it is realistic and can be colored in so many ways.

Mojo Monday 342 Gingham Garden Greeting Card

+
It is time to post another Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge card. This week I am revisiting a Designer Series Paper that I used last spring. It was one of the items that I was allowed to purchase early to start making samples. Stampin' Up! doesn't "open the store" to demos before the catalog goes live. They select a few items that we can purchase early to get our classes ready for when the catalog goes live. This Designer Paper was one of those items. The paper pack is called Gingham Garden and it is now on the retiring products list, so it is only available while supplies last. It reminds me of fabric from 1950 or earlier.

Happy Resurrection Day!

I am sharing some cards from Susie today. She used the Stampin' Up! Blessed Easter tulips stamp to create three cards. The stamp is perfect for spring card stamping. It is easier to use to make spring cards if you separate the greeting from the tulips. I like to do that to make the stamp more versatile. If you look at a couple of my previous posts you will find that I used the sentiment (Wishes for a Blessed Easter) on other cards that I didn't stamp the tulips on.
