Friday Friend Share

This pretty floral arrangement was created by my friend, Betty. She likes to create punch art cards.

I don't know the manufacture of the punches or dies she used.

Have a blessed day,
Trude

Sparkly Crhistmas Tree Card

Here's a Christmas card that I thought I had already shared on my blog, but don't see it.

Stampin' Up! , Trude Thoman, stampwithtrude.blogspot.com, sparkly Christmas tree card, cupcake builder punch

This is almost exactly like the one that Carol Lovenstein created for her husband.

Here are the changes I made to her great design;
1. I didn't sponge green ink onto silver glimmer paper. Instead I used Wild Wasabi Designer Series Paper circles and I like the contrast with the red and silver glimmer papers.
2. I used Shimmery White card stock behind the tree. You can see the sparkle in this photo, but in person it is more subtle and I don't know that I would use the Shimmery White on this card if I were mass producing it.
3. I used a coordinating Wild Wasabi Designer Series Paper for the tree stand instead of Early Espresso, or whatever darker card stock was used in the original.

Other than that it is a copy of a winning card.

Have a blessed day!

St. Patrick's Day Banner

Here is the banner we made the other night at our  St. Patrick's Day banner class.

Oh, I just realized that I didn't take any close-ups to add to this post so that the details show up.

The challenge that I had with this banner was to keep it short enough to do in a 2 - 2 1/2 hour class session. I decided to go with the native word for Ireland and then embellish it with all of the fun St. Patrick's Day items that are usually associated with Ireland.

I created the two emblems on the ends of the banner with the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio. It is a digital publishing suite that I am beginning to use quite a bit to fill in when I don't have the right words or motif stamps to finish my projects.

But it is more than just a word processing program...you can make wonderful photo books and have them professionally printed by Stampin' Up! It is easy and fun! The publishing program is only $19.95.

Other Stampin' Up! products I used for this banner:
Hearts Collection framelit dies
Oval Collection framelit dies
Word Window punch
1 3/4" circle punch
1/2" circle punch
7/8" scallop circle punch
2 3/8" scallop circle punch
3/4" circle punch
1 3/8" circle punch
Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack
Owl Builder punch
Designer Series paper stack

Bunny card

Here's a cute bunny card that I made for this Easter.

Update: Many of the punches and the label die that I used on this card are now retired. To see what is currently available from Stampin' Up! click here.

Have a blessed day,
