Tuesday Tutorial #106 Seas the Day

Last week, when it was over 100* for 3 days in a row, the beach was a very popular place to be. It is still in the 80's there, but that is wonderful weather on the Oregon Coast.
I always enjoy going to the coast and would love to have been there last week. The traffic was very bad; bumper to bumper for most of the way between Beaverton and the beach. That's the main reason that I didn't go.

I just stayed home and created a beachy card instead.

Tuesday Tutorial # 90 High Tide

I always like lighthouses, so I was happy to see a new one in the spring Occasions catalog. However, it wasn't one of my first purchases. There were so many other stamp sets that I wanted!

Finally now, I have the stamp set and I am starting to play with it. This is the first card that I have created with it and I also created another card for my monthly demonstrator get-together.

Friday Friend Share

My friend, Jeannie, knows that I like the beach and everything about it. We both like lighthouses, beach scenes and marine life cards. Here's one that she made for me using a lighthouse stamp. I love the little shell brads too.

The new Stampin' Up! spring Occasions Catalog has a lighthouse stamp set in it. I'm sure I will be making a lighthouse card in the near future!

2 1/2" circle punch
