I am having a hard time giving summer up and one of the things that I always love about summer is all the strawberries that I find at stands and supermarkets! 
This stamp set is quite versatile, it has fall stamps in the set, but I thought that I would go ahead and make one more strawberry card before I turn to all the fall and Holiday cards.

This card was created by my friend, Betty. Isn't is great what you can do with a few pieces of paper and some cute embellishments? I think it would be a great way to use up some of the scraps that I just can't seem to part with. I'm not short on extra embellishments either. 

How about you, could you use some inspiration for some of your scraps? I have a board for tags on my Pinterest site and I think the craft board has some bookmarks. That's two ways to use up some of the scraps!

Fresh Fruit Class Card

I am a fan of this stamp set because of the strawberry! If you attend a class at my home you will know why. ☺

This was a project that we created in the July card class, I believe. I thought that I had already posted this, but I looked through my posts and didn't find it.

Today is my friend's, Susie, birthday. She wanted me to send her a strawberry card, so this is what she received from me ☺. Happy Birthday Susie!

Settin' Sail Birthday Card

Did you know that Stampin' Up! has this cute little stamp set? Some people think it is retired, but actually it is still available as long as supplies last. It makes cute little cards. This one is about 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".

I used the new Seaside embossing folder for the background. Really like this folder. It is one of the new 6" x 6" format folders so you can do more with it. I like the 6" x 6" folders because you can use them vertically or horizontally for your card backgrounds and the cards fit!

From Land to Sea Birthday Card

From Land to Sea is a wonderful stamp set for creating masculine cards. It is appealing for anyone that loves the sea (that would be me! I love to go to the Oregon coast).

The candy dots that I used on this card are now retired, but a great substitute is the Subtle Enamel Shapes (Marina Mist mini circles).

Happy Bee day card

What do you think of this card? Isn't it fun? I does look 'happy'.

This card reminds me of grade school and the pictogram sentences we were given to decipher! 

Another cute version would be to stamp the bee several times on the front and then stamp the "happy" on the inside of the card. Oh the possibilities!

Cottage Greetings Birthday Card

Here's a Stampin' Up! Clean and Simple card (CAS) that I created with the Cottage Greeting stamp set. I also used the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch to create the little flowers for the bottom of the banner.

I used the 2015-2017 Designer Series paper stack for the striped paper and the paper with words on it. The colors are Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe.

Use the Lots of Labels set to cut the banner, but cut one end off before stamping and attaching to the card.

The Watermelon Wonder is one of my favorite colors from the 2015-2017 in-color set. What color is your favorite from that set?

Birthday Blossoms Birthday Card

This is a lovely floral Stampin' Up! stamp set called Birthday Blossoms. The sentiments are in a beautiful font to go with the lovely florals. It makes for the perfect set. The sentiment is stamped on vellum to compliment the soft effect of the water colored flowers on the card.

Balloon Clelebration Birthday Card

Do you need to make a quick card for a birthday? Here it is! This card used one stamp set and two colors of paper.

I stamped off each of the clouds one time before I stamped them on the cardstock. I didn't want them to overpower the balloons!

There's even a punch that matches the balloons so that you don't have to cut them out by hand! Love it!

Flower Patch Birthday card with In-Colors

Here's a stamp set that I haven't worked with much. I thought I would use it to create a card with the new In-Colors. The problem is that I do not have the In-Color Designer Series paper stack yet, so I had to use Island Indigo as the background paper instead of Dapper Denim. 

Don't you think that the new In-Colors blend well together in the flowers? That shouldn't be surprising, Stampin' Up!s colors are created to work well with each other. They don't even have to be in the same color family (Regals, Brights, Neutrals, Subtles).

I found the card design on Pinterest. The Original was created by Carolina Evans. I didn't change much besides the color palette. I did add a few leaves so that you could see the new Emerald Envy In-Color.

The New catalog is now LIVE so all the new In-Colors can be ordered and used to create beautiful projects.
