It's the last Friday of the year! I appreciate all of you who are followers of my blog. It has been a challenging year for me. I am hoping that the new year will have fewer bumps in the road!

Today I am sharing a card from my friend, Cherylin. I thought it was perfect for this last Friday before New Year's Day. 

She created the card with a shaker window full of confetti. The sentiment is from the Endless Birthday Wishes set, and I'm not sure what the circle stamp is from. If anyone knows and can help me out, please leave the info in a comment.

Throwback Thursday # 11

The Throwback Thursday card for this week was created with a Stampin' Up! stamp set called "Love Notes".

If you don't have the retired Love Notes stamp set you might try creating this card with either Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set or Lots of Joy stamp set.

Tuesday Tutorial # 8

Last week the Tuesday Tutorial was about making your own embellishments to use on your projects. Today the Tuesday Tutorial is about using some of those embellishments.

This is a gate-fold card and it has quite a few embellishments on it. I used the following embellishments:

• Coastal Cabana Thick Baker's twine
• Flowers created with the Flower Fair Framelits set
• Vintage Faceted Designer button
• Basic jewels rhinestones
• Butterfly stamped with Basic Butterfly stamp set and punch with Itty Bitty butterfly punch
• Candy Dots created with In-color card stock, 1/4" hole punch and Crystal Effects
• Tea Lace Paper Doilies

Yes, this card has many embellishments on it. Embellishments add so much to paper projects whether you are creating gift bags, gift boxes, scrapbook pages, cards, or tags your projects will look great when you use embellishments.

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 10- Celebrate

Here's the 10th remake that I made with the March Paper Pumpkin kit.

I used the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set along with the supplies from the kit. This is also the other half of the card from the kit that I cut in half. I matted it on Soft Sky and then adhered it to a fold piece of Whisper White card stock. 

This is another card that I used markers to color in the YOU on. I also sponged the card with Daffodil Delight ink.

Endless Birthday Wishes Card

Finally I am getting back to some card making and blogging. It isn't really that I haven't made any cards, it's just that I have been doing the monthly card making classes and banner class and I have been teaching and tutoring, so I haven't had the time to do the blogging.

I saw a card on Pinterest (don't you love Pinterest??) that I thought I would use as the inspiration for a card. I switched out a color, the stamp set and the sequins. I like the pop of color with the neutrals. I still think it would work as a masculine card with the pop of red instead of the gold. What do you think?
