Here's the 6th and last remake that I have created so far from the April Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up!
For this version of the pocket tag I used the original pocket and covered the front with Designer Series Paper. I used the original tag card that came with the kit and added a banner stamped with the Choose Happiness banner stamp. The 'Dad' is cut out with the Project Life framelit.
If you would like to have some Paper Pumpkin fun, you can get your kits here!

Paper Pumpkin Amazing Mom Card
Here's April's Paper Pumpkin remake #5
I I was out of town for a week and didn't get this posted. It could be a Mother's Day card or it could be used to show your appreciation for your mother at any time of the year.
This is my 5th remake of Stampin' Up!s April Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used the original tag pocket as a template and cut this one out of Designer Series Paper. I did use the original card from the kit and stamped it with the Painted Petals stamp set. I added matching ribbon and twine. This is a quick and easy card that takes about 10 minutes once you have all the supplies gathered up.
Watch my blog for some blog candy tomorrow!

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 4
Here's the next fun pocket tag I made with the Stampin' Up! April Paper Pumpkin kit.
For this card I used the pocket tag that came in the kit and then I put Designer Series Paper on the inside back, used Naturals cardstock to recreate the card base and for the tags. Use a piece of Designer Series paper on the card base front. Used some Washi tape on the pocket tag front before I layered the sentiment over the top.
I used Jet Black Stazon ink and Baked Brown Sugar inks.
The pocket sentiment is from the Adventure Awaits set.

Boys Will be Boys Birthday Card
I'm going to take a break from the April Paper Pumpkin remakes and post this card that I made. It is prefect for a boy's birthday, but I bet there are a few girls that would enjoy it too.
I used Tempting Turquoise card stock, Whisper White card stock, and Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. The inks are Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Tempting Turquoise. I used a word bubble framelit to cut out the birthday greeting.
I used the masking technique to stamp the wall and floor behind the robot.

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 2
Here's the second remake for the April Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!
The card is the one that comes in the kit. The stamps I used are also in the April kit. And the bow and Baker's twine come in the original kit.
So, my changes to the kit are:
I used the original pocket tag as a pattern for the pocket tag that I created with the Designer Series Paper. I used Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper (2015 Sale-A-Bration). It has the perfect color combinations for the card base. Then I stamped the sentiments with Coastal Cabana (going to miss this ink!). The flowers are Calypso Coral.
It made a cute little Thank You card for one of my customers.
The kit this month does not come with envelopes. The pocket tags are meant to be tied on a package or around a bouquet or a bottle of Martinelli's.

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 1
I received the Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up! a few days ago and I have been playing with it.
Here's the first remake:
I like the look of craft paper in masculine cards. So, instead of using the bows and papers that came with the kit, I grabbed some Night of Navy ink, the Adventure Awaits, and The Open Sea stamp sets.
I stamped the envelope with stamps from The Open Sea stamp set and then Added the stamped element from Adventure Awaits. I also used Thick Baked Brown Sugar Baker's twine instead of the twine that came with the kit.
For the card that goes inside the tag pocket, I cut a piece of Whisper white the same size as the kit cards. Then I added a piece of the Designer Series Paper that is in the Maritime paper pack. I stamped The Open Sea ship image on Whisper White and cut it out with an oval framelit die.

Paper Pumpkin Remake
I think this is the last of the February and March Paper Pumpkin remakes. This is a remake of the envelopes that came with the accordion cards. I used it to create a little treat box for my friend for Easter. I filled it with Jelly Belly jelly beans.
I used the Crazy About You stamp set from Stampin' Up!s spring Occasions catalog. The leaves and flower are included with MANY words that you can combine to create greetings for almost any Occasion. It's a favorite from the catalog.
I believe I used Melon Mambo and Garden Green inks to stamp the box. The twine is the thick Bakers twine that was free during Sale-A-Bration.

Paper Pumpkin Remakes
I created some small cards with the February Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit was designed to create accordion Thank You cards and they are quite cute. They come with craft box-type envelopes that are really too thick to be mailed but are very nice to give to people in person.
I decided to alter the original project to make it more mailable. Here are some of the items I created.
I used the Crazy About You stamp set for the stamped sentiments on each card.
These are all small cards, about the size of a regular 'gift enclosure' card.
I also used the Sale-A-Bration papers, Irresistibly Yours, on each of the cards and sponged them with color. I really love these papers and hope that Stampin' Up! will have more of this type of paper available in future catalogs.

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 10- Celebrate
Here's the 10th remake that I made with the March Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set along with the supplies from the kit. This is also the other half of the card from the kit that I cut in half. I matted it on Soft Sky and then adhered it to a fold piece of Whisper White card stock.
This is another card that I used markers to color in the YOU on. I also sponged the card with Daffodil Delight ink.
Have a blessed day!

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 9- Miss You
My card for today is an I miss YOU card. I created it with the March Paper Pumpkin kit, but I split the card in half because the front and back is printed and I made two cards out of the one! I adhered it to Pool Party card stock, used a Pool Party marker to color in the YOU and used "I MISS" from the Crazy About You stamp set that is in the Stampin' Up! spring Occasions catalog. Love that set, so many ways to use it. On the inside I stamped the word "already".
I hope that you have a Joyful Easter!

Paper Pumpkin remake # 8 Greeting Card
Here's yet another remake of Stampin' Up!s March Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used the Painted Petals flower stem to stamp along the bottom of the card and I also used one of the sentiments in the same set to stamp above the YOU.
I sponged the card base with Wild Wasabi ink, used a Wild Wasabi marker for the sentiment and also stamped the flower stems with Wild Wasabi.
I used some scraps from my scrap bin to punch the flowers from. I think I used Cherry Cobbler card stock, Real red card stock and Calypso Coral. I used the Boho Blossom punch.
Thanks for stopping by today,
Trude

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 7- Easter card
I used the Happy Easter Bunny stamp to create this Easter card. I colored the stripes on the card with markers, used a marker for the YOU, and stamped the Easter greeting words with the Crazy About You word stamp set. I stamped the bunny, colored it with markers and cut it out with a craft knife.
This dancing bunny is so fun! That is how I feel about spring, Happy, Happy!
We've had rain, thunder, and hail today...typical spring weather. The sun has even tried peeking out a couple of times!
Enjoy the day,
Trude

Congratulations Paper Pumpkin remake # 6
There were 8 cards in the March Paper Pumpkin kit and I made one of them into two cards and then used the original word bubble as a pattern and created one of my own so.... you will be seeing quite a few versions of these March Paper Pumpkin kit cards by the time I post the last one. Hope you are enjoying the variety.
This one could be used as a congratulatory card, or maybe a birthday card. I used the Blue Ribbon stamp set, Night of Navy ink, a 1/4" circle punch, a star framelit, gold foil paper, and the scattered star border punch to create this card.
If you are wondering where I used the scattered star border punch; I used it to punch the gold foil paper and then adhered 2 tiny stars by the word "the" and one over the center of the number 1.

Thank You Card Paper Pumpkin Remake # 5
This card has just two modifications to the original. They are simple modifications that make the card quick and easy to create.
Instead of stitching the YOU with the yellow embroidery thread, I colored it with Pool Party markers. I also sponged Pool Party ink on the front of the card, heavier on the edges and lightly toward the center.
The Paper Pumpkin kit includes this "Thank" stamp and the one on the inside also. Inside the card it says, "You're a gem" which goes along with the little Pool Party colored gem that is included with the kit.

Hello You Paper Pumpkin Remake # 4
Yup, you guessed it another March Paper Pumpkin remake.
I dabbed spots of color on this card using sponge daubers. I like the extra color and it helps tie in the Pool Party arrows with the Daffodil Delight YOU.
The Original Paper Pumpkin kit card would have been black and white with the blue arrows and the YOU outlined in yellow embroidery thread...
I like my changes and it takes 15 fewer minutes to make this card than to make the original version with the embroidered outline.

Lucky Paper Pumpkin Card Remake # 3
I'm really getting into altering the Paper Pumpkin kit this month. Here is my next alteration. I have to post this one now before March is over.
I decided that the small flower in the Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty punch pack looked a little like four leaf clovers. Then I found the word in the Crazy About You stamp set. I love that set because it has so many words in it that can be used singly or in phrases.
Then again, instead of using the yellow embroidery floss that came with the Paper Pumpkin kit, I used markers to color the YOU.
This could be used as a congratulations card or a St. Pat's Day card.
Thanks for checking out my blog today. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to help you! Check out my contact tab above.

Happy Birthday Paper Pumpkin Remake # 2
Here's another card from the Stampin' Up!, March "My Paper Pumpkin" kit. I added some color to it. I also used the dots stamp from Kinda Eclectic stamp set to repeat dots on the inside of the card.

Rainbow Paper Pumpkin Card
I am creating with the March Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up!
This is the first card I made. There are 9 cards, 3 each of 3 different designs. I decided to do all of them a little differently than the way they were intended to be put together.
For some of the cards I am using the stamps that came with the set and for others I am using stamps from my regular Stampin' Up! stamp sets.
The cards were intended to be just the black and white design with the yellow YOU and some added Soft Sky accents. You will see over the next several days that my cards went in another direction.
I used the ink pads from the bright set to sponge color on the front of the card. I decided not to use the green from the Brights set, so I used the Wild Wasabi instead because it is brighter.
The "Thinking of" stamps are from the Crazy About You stamp set. That set is a wonderful set with lots of words and so many ways to combine them. It is in the Spring Occasions catalog.
Keep checking back for more March Paper Pumpkin alternate idea cards!

The answer is all kinds of things! This was intended to be a cake banner but I had other ideas! I made it into a card because that is what I like to do best.

I also made this card from the same kit. The clothespins and 'poles' were included. I did not stamp the banners on the first card, but on this card I used the 3 stamps that were included in the kit and the ink pads and stamped the banners.
I made a third card from the kit, but haven't photographed it yet, so perhaps I will share it another time.
If you want to see more cards that were created with this kit by other crafters, go to pinterest and enter the search words 'paper pumpkin'. You will find many ideas. Plus you will see photos of the actual content of this kit.
Try a Paper Pumpkin kit for one month to see how you like it!
Have a crafty day!
