Boys Will Be Boys Thank You card

Today I am going to share a card that my daughter-in-law made to send to the children that came to my grandson's birthday party.

She used the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set from Stampin' Up! It was perfect because he loves Lego! I don't think there are many boys that don't. Even my boys like Legos, and they are all grown up!

Tuesday Tutorial # 4

I don't need as many children's birthday cards as I used to. Children have a way of growing into teens and then adults! Occasionally I still need a card that would be appropriate for an elementary age child so today that is the card that I created.

I used the new Color Me Irresistible Designer Series Paper on this card. I also used the techniques of masking and stenciling. If you would like the list of supplies and the instructions for this card please do the following;

Tuesday Tutorial # 2

This is a fun card created with Boys Will Be Boys stamp set.  

I posted a card a couple of months ago that was building blocks in primary colors. I thought that card would be good for boys or girls. Now I decided to create the same card with girl colors so that you can see how it looks.

What do you think? I think it's great because girls love building blocks too!

This week the Tuesday Tutorial is for the original boys' card, but the measurements are all the same. All you need to do is switch out the colors of card stock; Pirouette Pink card stock, Perfect Plum card stock, and Melon Mambo card stock. Also switch the marker colors. I used Melon Mambo embossing powder, which is now retired, but you can use black or white.

Boys Will be Boys Birthday Card

I'm going to take a break from the April Paper Pumpkin remakes and post this card that I made. It is prefect for a boy's birthday, but I bet there are a few girls that would enjoy it too.

I used Tempting Turquoise card stock, Whisper White card stock, and Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. The inks are Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Tempting Turquoise. I used a word bubble framelit to cut out the birthday greeting.

I used the masking technique to stamp the wall and floor behind the robot.

Lego Birthday Card

Remember a couple of weeks ago when Boys Will Be Boys stamp set was one of the Weekly Deals? Well, I took advantage of the deal and bought the set. Here is my first card using it. I'm sure I will be putting it to good use, I have many nieces and nephews and a grandson that enjoy playing with Lego style building blocks.

Yes, I went for a simple composition for this one. Most boys don't care about all the froof anyway, so I kept it basic with no ribbons or fluff.

I had planned to use the Modern Label punch to punch the sentiment out of the Garden Green card stock, but it is a tad too long for the punch, so I opted for the framelit from the Project Life Framelit set. I like how it looks and it is not as fussy as the Modern Label punch. 

Products I used:
Paper- Daffodil Delight card stock, Pacific Point card stock, Real Red card stock, Whisper White card stock, Garden Green card stock
Stamps- Boys will be Boys
Ink- Momento Black ink pad, Craft White ink pad, Blendabilities markers
Other- Large Polka Dot embossing folder, Project Life framelits, Dimensionals.
