Friday Friend Share
Today I have another card from Kim to share with you.
The stamp set she used can still be purchased; it was new in the 2016-2017 annual catalog.
It is called Artistically Asian and has really nice sentiments for encouragement.
She created layers of color for the background. I don't know what inks she used. Distress inks are popular for this technique.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Tuesday Tutorial # 94 Thoughts and Prayers
This uses the Baby Wipe Technique. I like it for this stamp set. I added a twist to the basic technique that I shared in my Wednesday 101 tutorial about the Baby Wipe Technique. In that tutorial the dots of ink were random. For this card the ink is placed in specific spots.
You can get the tutorial now by using this link.
Have a blessed day,

Tuesday Tutorial # 52 Weather Together Card
It is appropriate for our weather. We should be having clear skies and 80 degrees because it is after the 4th of July. Instead it is cloudy. We have had some showers the last few days. I hope fall hasn't started for us!
You can get the tutorial now by using this link.
Have a blessed day,

Friendly Wishes Card
This card is created with the Maritime Designer Series Paper pack, one of my favorites, and a stamp set that is in the new Stampin' Up! catalog, Friendly Wishes.
I will miss this paper pack, but there is still time to purchase it until June 2nd. I already have an extra pack put away for scrapbook pages.
This card will work for a Father's Day card as well as an encouragement card. You could even put a birthday greeting inside. It is versatile.
I used the circle collection framelits and for the mats I drew around the outside edge of the framelit and cut them out by hand. I used the star framelit set to cut the stars from glimmer papers. The ink is Night of Navy.
I used a Mojo Monday sketch from November 2010. You can check out all their sketches at mojomonday.blogspot.com. They have an archive with 100s of sketches.
Have a blessed day!

Paper Pumpkin Remake # 1
Here's the first remake:
I stamped the envelope with stamps from The Open Sea stamp set and then Added the stamped element from Adventure Awaits. I also used Thick Baked Brown Sugar Baker's twine instead of the twine that came with the kit.
For the card that goes inside the tag pocket, I cut a piece of Whisper white the same size as the kit cards. Then I added a piece of the Designer Series Paper that is in the Maritime paper pack. I stamped The Open Sea ship image on Whisper White and cut it out with an oval framelit die.

Paper Pumpkin remake # 8 Greeting Card
I used the Painted Petals flower stem to stamp along the bottom of the card and I also used one of the sentiments in the same set to stamp above the YOU.
I sponged the card base with Wild Wasabi ink, used a Wild Wasabi marker for the sentiment and also stamped the flower stems with Wild Wasabi.
I used some scraps from my scrap bin to punch the flowers from. I think I used Cherry Cobbler card stock, Real red card stock and Calypso Coral. I used the Boho Blossom punch.
Thanks for stopping by today,
Trude

2nd of 5 CASEd Stampin' Up! Cards
CASE is a term used quite a bit by Shelli Gardner the co-founder of Stampin' Up! She encourages people to Copy And Share Everything. She doesn't necessarily mean that people should make identical copies of the cards that are in the Stampin' Up! catalogs, but she doesn't rule that out.
In this series I Copy the layout and switch out the paper, stamps, and ink.
Here's today's switch. Can you find the original in the Stampin' Up! Spring Occasions catalog?
I used Vanilla Naturals card stock as the base. Then I sponged hearts on it using the Decorative Hearts mask and Melon Mambo ink. I also sponged Melon Mambo ink around the outside edges of the card front.
The frame is a photo frame from the On Film framelit Big Shot die cutter set. I used Tempting Turquoise card stock.
The banner is die cut with the Banners framelit Big Shot die cutter set. I used Daffodil Delight card stock and stamped a sentiment from the Perfect Pennants set using Rich Razzleberry ink. I sponged Melon Mambo on the edges. Then I glued a strip of Sweet Taffy Designer Series paper to the top of the banner and cut 3 small banners from the same paper. I strung them all on a piece of white Baker's twine.
The heart is also from the Perfect Pennants stamp set. I stamped it with Melon Mambo ink and hand cut it. Then I cut a banner, with a Bitty Banner Framelit, from Rich Razzleberry card stock and stamped "friend" (from the Peachy Keen stamp set) on the heart. I layered the heart onto the Bitty Banner and adhered it to the card using Dimensionals.
Thanks for checking out my blog today. Please say HI! and come back to check out by blog tomorrow.
Have a Happy Stamping Day!

Feel Goods Greeting Card
I used another Mojo Monday layout for this Stampin' Up! card. This stamp set (Feel Goods) has some fun sayings and right now I am trying to get every last ray of sunshine before it is gone. Sometimes it seems as though Oregon has 9 months of rain. We have already seen some gully washers in the last couple of weeks.
I also used Designer Series Paper (Quatrefancy) and a framelit to die cut the sentiment (Deco Labels Collection).
I hope wherever you are you are staying dry! Enjoy the sunshine while it last, winter is coming.

A Little Rain
This card seems appropriate for the spring weather we have had lately. It is a quick and easy card, kind of. I didn't have the stamp to stamp the words, so I used 'Word' to create this card. The outside says, "Into every life a little rain must fall...". The inside says,"Call me if you need an umbrella." There is an umbrella stamped beside the saying.
I hope you are having a Sunny day!

polished stone technique card
The tile in the lower corner was made with the polished stone technique. The camera didn't like it because it is shiny and pearlescent. But it is a nice effect and you can learn about it HERE
Have a blessed day,
