Tuesday Tutorial # 94 Thoughts and Prayers

Thoughts and Prayers Encouragement Card

This uses the Baby Wipe Technique. I like it for this stamp set. I added a twist to the basic technique that I shared in my Wednesday 101 tutorial about the Baby Wipe Technique. In that tutorial the dots of ink were random. For this card the ink is placed in specific spots.

Tuesday Tutorial # 20 Fall Panel Card

I finally got another Tuesday Tutorial completed. It has been such a challenge for me to update my blog lately. It just seems like I keep getting things 'thrown' at me.

I got rear-ended last week, so now I am doing doctor visits/ physical therapy twice a week and now on top of it I have a cold that is slowing me down. I guess it is true that when it rains, it pours!

Here's the card I created

Wednesday 201- Beyond the Basics

Hello,
Today I am going to share with you the wet wipe technique (also known as the baby wipe technique).
It is easy to do and adds another technique to your list of accomplishments!
I think this technique is a good one to learn because on certain stamps it can save a LOT of time. Last year I used it on a Christmas wreath stamp. Once you have the wet wipe inked up it is ready to do a bunch of cards before you need to reink it, so you can stamp a stack quickly.

Here's how:

Choose three or four reinkers. Here I am doing a fall card so I chose Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz.

Put the wet wipe on a plate and dot the wet wipe with reinkers randomly until you have an area inked that is the size of the stamp you will be using.

Ink up your stamp with the ink that is on the wet wipe. For this stamp I inked it and stamped it three times varying the angle of the stamp slightly each time.

Now, create your card!

The stamp set that I used for this card was Sheltering Tree. I also used the pumpkin thinlit that came with Square Pillow Box thinlits die set.

Triple Layer Snowflake Soiree Christmas Card

triple layer, Christmas card, Snowflake Soiree, Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!
Here's another triple layer card that is almost like the other one. It uses Snowflake Soiree stamp set by Stampin' Up! The main difference is that I used the solid color cardstock as the top layer. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and inked the edges with craft white ink. Then I added an embellishment to make it sparkle. I wish the sparkle would show up more than it does. These Frosted Finish Embellishments really sparkle!

Have a crafty day!

Bloomin' Marvelous Greeting Card

Stamp With Trude

I used the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration stamp set called Bloomin' Marvelous. I also used the reinker/ baby wipe technique to stamp the humming bird and the flower. It's a cute set.

This is another card I made using the Snowflake Soiree stamp set by Stampin' Up! Again, I used the baby wipe technique with reinkers to ink the snowflake. Makes nice color gradations.

Snowflake Soiree Christmas Card

http://stampwithtrude.blogspot.com Stampin' Up! Christmas card by Trude Thoman
This set of snowflakes is beautiful! As soon as I saw them in the Holiday Stampin' Up! catalog, I knew I would get the set to make Christmas cards and other winter themed cards.

I made this card using the baby wipe technique. I really like the color gradations in the snowflakes.
