Seasonally Scattered Christmas Card

Okay, I don't know where "tomorrow" went. It has become "today". So, today I will share with you what I did on Sunday.

Yup, I attended my niece's wedding. Yes it was country style with cowboy boots and hats!

It was a lovely day, on the edge of too warm, but at least it wasn't raining! At this time in the Northwest, you never can predict the weather so she was fortunate to get a lovely day.

Stampin' Up! Seasonally Scattered Christmas Card by Trude Thoman http://stampwithtrude.blogspot.com

Here's another card created with the Stampin' Up! Seasonally Scattered stamp set. It is in the same set with the "LOVE" sentiment that I shared two days ago. I used Kraft Paper for the card's base. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with white embossing powder to which I had added Dazzling Detail glitter (3 parts powder, 1 part glitter).

I also used three snowflakes from the Frosted Sequins pack in the Holiday Catalog. It includes 450 pieces total (silver sequins in two sizes and the snowflakes in one size). The ribbon is Real Red 1/8" Taffeta ribbon. I used a corner rounder on the corners and sponged the edges with white craft ink.

Tip: For this card I used a sponge dauber and rubbed the red ink into the center of the sentiment. I could have used a Real Red marker if I had only wanted the red to be inside the individual letters instead of the ink also spreading 'under' the snowflakes surrounding "Merry".

Triple Layer Snowflake Soiree Christmas Card

triple layer, Christmas card, Snowflake Soiree, Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!
Here's another triple layer card that is almost like the other one. It uses Snowflake Soiree stamp set by Stampin' Up! The main difference is that I used the solid color cardstock as the top layer. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and inked the edges with craft white ink. Then I added an embellishment to make it sparkle. I wish the sparkle would show up more than it does. These Frosted Finish Embellishments really sparkle!

Have a crafty day!

I used the Snow Flurry die to make this white on white card. I sprayed the snowflake with Vanilla Smooch Spray to make it sparkle.

I received my first Christmas card and it intrigued me, so I thought I would try to make my own version.

Sparkly Snowflake Christmas Card

Stamp With Trude

Another card that is not a Stampin' Up! card. I had a bunch of different card kits prepared for a Wednesday night class that got canceled. So, I am assembling them myself. More stamping ideas for you!

Have a blessed day,

Trude

#11 Stampin' Up! Christmas card  sample (2012)

This card was made with the Snow Flurry Bigz Die and the Northern Flurry embossing folder from Stampin' Up!.

The white snowflake is sprayed with Marina Mist reinker mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer. The More Merry Messages sentiment was stamped with Stazon, but you could also use Craft White ink.

You can use a die cut for the snowflake on this card, or you can use a Cricut or punch. It is not a complicated card. It goes together quite quickly. I used an epoxy sticker in the center of the snowflake.
