Summer Silhouette Floral Birthday Card

I'm thinking that I need to start making some valentines! But that isn't what I have to share with you today. I'm stuck on a birthday card streak because I always need a lot of birthday cards and I figured it would be good to make a bunch at the beginning of the year so I have some to choose from.

Here's today's
trude thoman, stampwithtrude.blogspot.com, summer silhouettes, thoughts and prayers, Sassy Salutations, stampin up, birthday card

It looks rather cheery and makes me think of spring.
I used; Sassy Salutations, Summer Silhouettes, and Thoughts and Prayers stamp sets.
I stamped the Thoughts and Prayers branch across the top of the Whisper white about 4 times with Daffodil Delight ink. Then I stamped a couple of leaf sprigs from the Summer Silhouette set with Pear Pizzazz that I stamped off once before stamping on the card. The Flowers from the Summer Silhouette set were stamped next using Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango inks. I stamped the flower centers using Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry inks. Stamp the sentiment in Jet Black Stazon.
Layer the white on Tangerine Tango and then onto a Daffodil Delight base.

Congratulations Card

Congratulation card by Trude Thoman http://stampwithtrude.blogspot.com Stampin' Up! Sassy Salutations stamp set
Here's a card that I should have posted in time for May graduations, but I think it is okay now too, because graduations can happen at different times of the year for different things.

This card doesn't have to be just a graduation card, it could be for promotions and other special occasions.

This is a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card. That means that the post office will charge you extra to have it sent in a square envelope, but if you use a rectangular envelope this one will go for the base rate, no extra charges. Use your envelope punch board to create the perfect size envelope.  Envelopes are so quick and easy to make with the punch board! Love it!

I used silver Fancy Foil Vellum over the Night of Navy card stock base. Then I embossed Congratulations from the Sassy Salutaions set (4 times). Added an arrow in Bermuda Bay and a scalloped Silver Foil paper circle with Silver 1/8" ribbon and then a die cut star stamped with a sentiment from Be the Star stamp set, stamped and sponged with Bermuda Bay ink.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Have a Blessed Day,
Trude
