Big News in bright and bold color combination.
This star paper in the Irresistibly yours Designer Series Paper pack is just one of 6 designs and there are 2 sheets of each design.
Products I used:
Paper- Tempting Turquoise card stock, Whisper White card stock, Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP, Melon Mambo card stock
Ink- Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise
Markers- Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Stamp Sets- Big News, Be the Star
Other- Stampin' Sponges, star rhinestones
This card says Thank you on the inside, but It would make a great encouragement card for a child that has done a great job, or a congratulations card for a promotion.
Have a blessed day,
Trude

Be the Star On Film Birthday Card
I have been searching through my photos to see if I missed posting some of my cards. I think that I CASEd this card from a Stampin' Up! publication, but I haven't located the original.
I used the On Film Framelit dies and a Big Shot to cut the film strip and arrow.
I used Be the Star stamp set for the focal piece and Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for the background.
The little dots are Silver foil paper punched out with the regular size paper punch.
I also die cut a small silver glimmer paper star for the center of the focal point star.
Have a blessed day!

Congratulations Card
Here's a card that I should have posted in time for May graduations, but I think it is okay now too, because graduations can happen at different times of the year for different things.
This card doesn't have to be just a graduation card, it could be for promotions and other special occasions.
This is a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card. That means that the post office will charge you extra to have it sent in a square envelope, but if you use a rectangular envelope this one will go for the base rate, no extra charges. Use your envelope punch board to create the perfect size envelope. Envelopes are so quick and easy to make with the punch board! Love it!
I used silver Fancy Foil Vellum over the Night of Navy card stock base. Then I embossed Congratulations from the Sassy Salutaions set (4 times). Added an arrow in Bermuda Bay and a scalloped Silver Foil paper circle with Silver 1/8" ribbon and then a die cut star stamped with a sentiment from Be the Star stamp set, stamped and sponged with Bermuda Bay ink.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Big News Birthday Card
This birthday card is created with the Big News Stampin' Up! stamp set. I like this stamp set because it has Big Bold greetings that make it easy to create very quick cute cards. I already shared one stamp with you from the set...the Happily Ever After stamp. The candle is in the same set, but the little scattered stars are in the Be the Star set.
To create the 'glow' around the 'flames' I used a sponge dauber to sponge circles of ink; then I used Dazzling Details to add some sparkle to the star flames. I also stamped a row of stars along the bottom of the inside of the card and then randomly stamped several candles across the border.
I like the way the card turned out and will probably do a stack of them to put in my birthday organizer. I can't seem to keep up with birthday cards. This one is so quick that it should help me get ahead a little.
That's it for today. Remember to check out yesterday's blog and enter a comment by Saturday night so you can have a chance to win the blog candy!
Happy Day!

5th of 5 CASEd Stampin' Up! Cards and Blog Candy
Today is the last entry for my CASE Series. Don't worry, I will be sharing more Stampin' Up! cards with you almost every day.
This card is created with the Be the Star stamp set and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. Do you have Gorgeous Grunge yet? Have you used it much? I use it a lot! It really is such a useful stamp set. I would love to hear if you have used it, or if it is on your wish list. Sooo... I have a set of 3 stamps from the April 2013 Paper Pumpkin Kit that I am going to give away as blog candy when you tell me if you have the set and how much you use it. I will go to random.org on Sunday, August 10th to pick a random winner from the comments. The deadline for comments is Saturday, August 9th at 11:59 PM. I will post the winner after noon on Sunday.
* Here's a hint about cutting out the On Film Framelit...put a piece of waxed paper between the die and the card stock. Your die cut will be easier to remove if you do!
Well, that's it for today. Please leave a comment! I would love to hear from you and be your Stampin' Up! contact if you don't have a demo already!

Red, White and Blue Patriotic Star Card
Here's the card that I was going to share for the 4th of July.
I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set, "Be the Star", to create this card. I used the layered stamp to stamp on the back of the glimmer paper and cut out the different layers, then piled up the glimmer layers.
The background stars were created with the new Decorative star mask (#133777).
The layout is a Mojo Monday sketch from several years ago. I like to challenge myself to come up with cards using past sketches. There are so many sketches that I haven't tried yet that I am sure I won't run out any time soon!
Paper:
Whisper White card stock, Night of Navy card stock, Regals Designer Series paper, Maritime Designer series paper, silver glimmer paper, red glimmer paper
Ink:
Whisper White craft ink, Smoky Slate classic Stampin' ink, Jet Stazon to stamp the stars on the back of the glimmer paper as a pattern for cutting them out.
Stamp set: Be the Star
Other: White embossing powder with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' glitter mixed into it.
Basic Rhinestone jewels colored with cherry cobbler blendabilities marker (darkest value).
Decorative star mask, Dimensionals, corner rounder punch
