Bootiful Occasions Birthday Card

Okay, I guess I am sliding back into winter with this card. I ran out of birthday cards the other day, so I decided to make a Bootiful birthday card! This Stampin' Up! set is fun for several occasions. It even has a wacky boot for Halloween (not shown). The sentiment inside says, "Happy Boot Day!" Isn't that fun?

This isn't actually the finished card...
The next day after I created this card, edited the photo and got it ready for my blog, I decided to restamp each boot and pop it up over the original image with Dimensionals. I like the added 3D effect.

Bootiful Occasions Birthday Card

This birthday card is made with the Bootiful Occasions stamp set by Stampin' Up!

For the background I used blue cardstock, embossed it and then rubbed some soft suede ink over the background.

Bootiful Occasions Christmas Card

http://stampwithtrude.blogspot.com Stampin' Up! greeting card by Trude Thoman
To make the card base I used Bashful Blue card stock and sprayed it with Smooch spray to make it sparkle. Then I used the Snow Flurry Big Shot die by Stampin' Up! and the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.
It is hard to see the sentiment stamped down in the right hand corner because of all the sparkle sprayed over it. The sentiment says, "Warm winter wishes down to your toes".

the Bootiful Occasions stamp set is a fun set from Stampin' Up! It has 4 different boots with sayings. I will be sharing the cowboy boot card I made.
