Friday Friend Share

Here's a floral card from my friend Betty. She used the Stampin Up Flower shop stamp set. The leaves are from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

It may be winter, but the days are getting longer and it won't be long before we will see flowers blooming again. Until then, we can start stamping some floral cards.

Thanks for sharing, Betty. If you would like to share your artwork with others, you can mail me a card, or even attach a photo of your card to an email.

Have a blessed day,

Flower Shop Note Card

Here's a long card. We don't see these too often!

I based this card on a design that I saw in the previous Stampin' Up! Annual catalog. The layout is much the same, but the stamps, papers, and colors are different.

The Flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set and the Sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. The cardstock colors are: Rose Red, Wisteria Wonder, Garden Green and Whisper White.

Hello Spring! Banner

It is officially spring! It may not look like it where you are, and there was frost on all the roof tops here, this morning, but it is spring! I noticed many blooming trees on my way to and from the gym this morning. Love it!
I made this spring banner with the new pennants framelits that are in the Stampin' Up! spring occasions catalog.

spring banner, Backyard Basics, Petal Parade, Secret Garden, Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!
I pulled out quite a few stamp sets that have flowers in them. The main stamp set I used was Backyard Basics. I also used Flower Shop, Secret Garden and a flower from the free Sale-A-Bration set, Petal Parade.

I used framelits for almost everything. I didn't use them for the large flowers on the banner ends, but I could have. Secret Garden does have the matching framelits. I used the pennant framelits for the banner bases. Then I used Apothecary Accent framelits for the letter bases. The letters themselves are a Spellbinder die set. Then I used the Backyard Basics framelit set for most of the pennant accents. It sure made the banner go together faster to use the Big Shot to do all that cutting!
