Okay, here is the page that I created using the embellishments I created for the Wednesday 201, Beyond the Basics post this week.
Pull out your punches and get creative!
Have a blessed day,

Scrapbook Sunday Project Life pages
I wanted to do a quick and simple page layout with the photos I took when we went with our friends to check out North Bonneville Dam. I just bought the Bundle that is in the current annual catalog called, Moments Like These. So I looked through the box and chose 3 cards to use in the card pockets along with my photos.
One photo had a portrait orientation and I only had a landscape oriented pocket, so I trimmed it to 4" x 4", it didn't remove anything important, and put one of the project life cards behind it as a mat.
Then I chose the two small cards, and they coordinate and work very well with the subject of these photos, and used a labeler to create the title on one. I will do the journaling about the 'adventure' on the other card. It is quick and simple, and I can add some extras that came along with the embellishment bundle if I want, but I kind of like this quick and simple layout as it is.
I did have to have two pocket pages to hold all the photos.

Scrapbook Sunday # 3
For this week's Scrapbook Sunday I am sharing a Project Life page. I probably should share this on Thursday as a Throwback Thursday project because the Stampin' Up! set of Project Life cards were from the Holiday Catalog last year. The new Holiday catalog will be coming out in the not-to-far-distant-future. So this set of cards is not longer available, but we don't have long to wait for the new set!
Project Life pages are quick and easy to put together. For this page I added washi tape and an embossed glittery snowflake to the card in the upper right corner. Then I used the Project Life embellishment set for the center bottom card and added the 'DEC' and the '2013'. Also the little tag that is on the photo in the upper left pocket (Let's get festive) is from the same embellishment set. The card in the lower left pocket is for my journaling.
Have a blessed day,
Trude

Scrapbook Sunday # 1
I am going to try doing some scrapbook pages. I have plenty of products to use to make pages and I have plenty of photos that need to go in albums, I just haven't taken the time to create the page.
Some of the pages will be pages that I create with papers, embellishments, photos and layers. Others like this first one I created will be designed with my "My Digital Studio" program.
This is a 12" x 12" page.
I used Crumb Cake to fill the 12" x 12" background.
I used a square punch to add a square shape over the base and expanded it out to within an inch of the edge all the way around. Then I filled the punch with Soft Sky.
I added another square punch and expanded it to within 1/2" of the soft sky all the way around. Then I filled it with Crumb Cake.
On top of this layer I added a Chevron punch, expanded it, filled it with Soft Sky, copied and pasted a second one on the end.
Then I added a square punch shape, created a retangle and put it in the lower left corner. On top of the white rectangle I added a journaling tag. I used the lined paper stamp that is in the A+ stamp set.
After that I added the two shells from By the Seashore stamp set. I colored one with Very Vanilla and then I expanded and colored the Nautilus with Soft Suede.
Then I added the sunburst and filled it with Daffodil Delight and expanded it and moved it up to the corner.
Then add another square punch, expand it into a rectangle, add a Soft Suede shadow and fill with Soft Sky.
The Summer sun is from a free 'Label it' set. But you can create your own title in that area.
I'm going to put a photo of my grandson on this page. I have a really cute one from his first visit to the beach.
Hope you can use this idea too!
