Well, it took me a few days but I finally got some photos of Susie's completed banner to post. Her version has a little more "grown-up" feel than mine does. She did a wonderful job.
She used some of the same basic items I did but added stamps from the Open Ocean, and Wetlands stamp sets, plus the banners on top with the stamped words. Don't you love this? Doesn't it just inspire you to get out your supplies and create a summer time beach banner for yourself?
Happy Stamping!

Wetlands Father's Day Card FMS137
Now that the Memorial Day weekend is all but done, it is time to start thinking about the card/s that you will create for Father's Day. This one is a CAS (Clean and Simple). You can use it for the guy that likes things simple and clean...or maybe you want to create a card that is quick, this works for that too!
I used the Wetland stamp set (©Stampin' Up!). Have you tried using sandpaper in any of your creations? It's a guy thing, so it's perfect for this card. I used it for the strip of 'sand'. I think the sea birds and 'sand' would look good with torn edges too.
I used the Freshly Made Sketch for this week
I will be sharing another Father's Day card tomorrow. Come back and check it out!

Wetlands Goose Christmas Card
I liked the Fall card that I made with the Stampin' Up! Wetlands goose stamp, so I thought I would try a Christmas card with it. I think it works! It's a Christmas goose.
The Season of Style designer series paper and the woodgrain embossing folder add the right touch of country to go with the goose.

Wetlands Thinking of You Card
The idea for this Stampin' Up! card that I am sharing with you today came from Stampin' Up! demo Amy K. You can see the original at www.stampwithamyk.com
I did a few switches of card base paper, background stamp and embellishment, but it is basically the same card..
This Wetland stamp set is such a great stamp set for masculine cards. When I first saw it in the catalog I thought, "Oh, that is interesting," but I didn't get it. It wasn't until I started seeing fantastic cards on Pinterest, that used this set, that I decided I had to have it.
For this card I used:
Basic White cardstock as a base
Soft Suede cardstock as a mat
Pool Party cardstock as the card front
I stamped the tall grass with Versa Mark watermark ink
I stamped the sentiment and Sand Pipers with Soft Suede ink
I used an antique brad as an embellishment
I used the X large oval punch to punch out the sentiment
I would love to be your demonstrator if you are looking for one!
When you place an order in my online store that totals $50.00 or more (not including shipping and taxes) you will receive a Star Crafter's award. When you have 10 awards you can choose $30.00 of product from the catalog for FREE! See the details by clicking the tab at the top of the blog.

Wetlands Goose Birthday Card
The Stampin' Up! Wetlands stamp set is a great stamp set to create fall cards and masculine cards with.
Check out other wildlife cards on this weeks Paper Players weekly challenge.
I really like finding ways to use the birch paper that came in the Thanksgiving tablescape kit. Doesn't it look great with the goose stamp?
Other products I used:
Early Espresso card stock
Basic White card stock
Early Espresso ink
Label Framelits
wood grain embossing folder
Enjoy!
