Hexagon Quilt Card
My mom makes a lot of quilts and it is her birthday next week, so I thought this would be a good theme for a card. Plus she has too many flowers to count, so it is a perfect fit; flowers and quilts.
I thought it would look pretty with a butterfly, so I added the Butterfly Basics stamp set butterfly and layered it on the die cut butterfly from the new Butterfly framelit set.
I used a brayer to apply Crushed Curry ink to the embossing folder before I ran it through the Big Shot. That's why you can see the embossed lines on the background paper.
I used Designer Series paper and the hexagon punch for the flowers and leaves. But if you want to you can use the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set and stamp and punch the flowers and leaves.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and I punched it out with the Word Window punch and matted it with the modern label punch.

Holiday Home Christmas Card
The children are back in school and it's time to think about making Christmas cards. Are you ready for the cooler weather and looking forward to the coming holidays?
Here's another Holiday Home card, but this one is switched up for Christmas. That is one of the great things about this set, it covers 3 holidays!
The background paper is All is Calm Specialty Designer Series paper. I also Used Lost Lagoon and Whisper White card stocks.
I stamped the tree and wreath in Wild Wasabi ink. The houses were stamped with Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon and Basic Gray inks.
The circle is cut with a circle collection framelit and the houses are cut with the Holiday Home's matching framelits, Homemade Holiday framelits dies.
The ribbon is Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta ribbon.
Thanks for checking out my blog today.
Have a Blessed Day!

Holiday Home Halloween Card
Did you miss my post yesterday? Happy Stampers had a Blog Hop that included Blog candy. There's still time to get in on the fun, check it out here.
Here's another project that I created with products from the new catalog.
The stamp set is called Holiday Home. It has houses and accessories for several holidays.
I used the Back to Black Designer Series Paper from the New Annual Catalog for the background paper on this piece. I used an aqua painter and ink to add Pumpkin Pie and Blackberry Bliss color washes to the DSP.
After you stamp the black paper with white craft ink and let it dry (very important!) you can use the new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities to color over any of the white that you want to add color to.
Have a crafty day!

Something for Baby Card
This is a quick card. It should take under 10 minutes. Cut and fold a Whisper White card base. Adhere 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" chocolate chip card stock to the front. Cut a 3" x 5 1/2" Whisper White card stock piece and use an aqua painter to apply a stripe of Coastal Cabana ink (either use a drop of reinker or squish the lid on the ink pad and pick up the color from the inside of the lid).
Use the small grunge splatter stamp to stamp some splatter across the card. I think I may have stamped it off one time before stamping to decrease the intensity. Stamp the baby buggy with chocolate chip ink and the hello baby also.
Adhere to card front about 1/2" from top, there should be about 3/4" remaining at the bottom. Apply the Washi tape across the bottom and a strip above the buggy and you are done! Wasn't that easy?!
Thank you for joining me in my craft room today!
Happy Day,

By the Seashore Father's Day Card HSSSC186
I used this Hand Stamped Sentiment Sketch Challenge (HSSSC186) but turned it upside down.
Just as in yesterday's card, I used a piece of sandpaper to embellish this card. It gives it texture and adds the 'feel' of being on a beach (plus many men can relate to sandpaper! *smile*) The Stamp sets I used are By the Seashore and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I would love to have been at the Oregon Coast this weekend. A couple of my friends that did go said that there were orca within sight of the beach. I guess the weather was great too!
I will just have to settle for my beachy cards for now.
I'm just starting to try my hand with alcohol markers. I used them to color the shells. I used watercolor paper on which to stamp and color. I tried the Whisper White card stock first, which is recommended, but think I will continue to use the watercolor paper until I have had some more practice.
I hope you had a great Memorial day weekend!

Have you tried this tissue paper flower technique with your Big shot?
The tissue paper flower was created with the Stampin' Up! pansy punch and the Floral Frames Collection dies.
I folded tissue paper so that there were 8 layers then punched it out with the pansy punch. Then I folded the tissue into 8 layers and put it through the Big Shot with the 2nd from the smallest flower.
