Yea! I am back! I have a card to share with you on the last day of 2014. I used the Age Awareness stamp set from the annual catalog and the Petal Potpourri stamp set that will be available in the Stampin' Up! Occasion catalog that begins January 6th.
There is a punch for the flowers. I also used the punch to punch out a flower from green card stock and then I cut across the flower to create leaves to use with the flower.
I used a 6 1/2" x 5" card base for this card.
Have a blessed day!

Fun Snow Day
Hello! I have been too busy to blog. Can you relate? With Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the activities that surround the holidays and getting ready for them, I just haven't had the time to stamp and create paper projects to share. It may be a couple more days before I get caught up.
Besides the holiday activities, I moved the contents of 2 rooms around in my house so that I could have a better work area for blogging and stamping! That has taken a week to accomplish and added to that I have a new computer which requires setting up and getting all the programs loaded and useable. I still haven't completed that whole process.
My husband and I took a break yesterday and went up to Mt. Hood to do some snowshoeing. The weather was perfect as was the snow.
I hope that you have spent time with family and friends and are just about ready to get back to paper crafting!
Have a blessed day,
Trude

Ho Ho Ho Christmas Banner
Hello,
Today I want to share with you the Christmas banner that we made in class this month.
Most of the supplies are Stampin' Up!, but there are a couple of other products that I used.
I cut the pennants from Cherry Cobbler card stock using the Top Note die, but if you want to make your banner like this one you will need to spray your paper with glitter spray and then seal it with a fixative to prevent the glitter from coming off.
I used my Cricut and the Don Juan cartridge to cut the H from 3 different colors of paper from the Trim The Tree paper stack. I also cut shadows for the H from Brushed Gold card stock.
I also cut the two gold circles from the Brushed Gold card stock. The snowman is made from Whisper White card stock.
The wreath is stamped using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and die cut with the matching framelits. I added a Cherry Cobbler seam binding bow. Add rhinestones to the middles of the flowers to make them sparkle. Color the rhinestones with Blendabilities.
The scarf on the snowman is made with Cherry Cobbler seam binding that is frayed on both ends. His hat is made with the large oval punch. The green and small black layers were created by repunching the ovals to make them slightly smaller.
The ornament has a silver foil paper band (doesn't look silver in the photo though) and the cap was created with the silver foil paper that has been put through the crimper (retired Stampin' Up!). I used a craft store swirl of rhinestones to bling it up.
I strung the pennants on gold Baker's Twine and then tied on pieces of 1/8" gold ribbon.
The letters and circles are all cut at 3 1/2".
Thanks for stopping by today,
Trude
