Friend to Friend Card Sunday Stamps Challenge

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Friendship card, Teeny Tiny Wishes, SSC41

This is my entry for the color challenge at Sunday Stamps!
The colors are quite bright for this challenge, so to tone them down I used a lot of white space. I think this qualifies for a Clean and Simple card.

From My Heart Encouragement Card

Stamp with Trude, Encouragement card, Stampin' Up!, From My Heart

The vintage look on this Stampin' Up! encouragement card was created with embossed vellum strategically smudged with ink and adhered over Limeade card stock.

I used the layout from the Paper Players as a guide.

The printed paper is the Two for Tea Designer series paper that is in the Stampin' Up! 2013 spring catalog.

A Freshly Made Sketches layout was used for this card.
I used the Secret Garden Stamp Set to stamp the flowers on Designer Series Paper.
Take a look at the other cards made with this sketch. Many wonderful ideas.

Other than the Basic White card stock, I used 2013 In-Colors. They are scheduled to go away at the end of May-2013.

Easter Greeting Card

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Easter, Bunny, spring
This is the card I made for this week's Pals Paper Arts layout challenge (PPA155).
I used Lucky Limeade card stock, Calypso Coral Designer Series paper stack, and Basic White card stock.
I like this realistic bunny stamp from Stampin' Up! It is a single stamp that is available until the end of March-2013, just a few more days.

Stampin' Up! Spring Daffodil Basket

stamp with trude
I used Stampin' Up! Floral Frames Framelits and Fancy Favor Bigz die to create this spring basket.

At the workshop, I filled it with jelly beans.

I used Certainly Celery card stock for the Basket Base. The Yellow is Daffodil Delight polka dot from the Brights Designer Series Paper stack. Then there is Whisper White card stock and Calypso Coral card stock. The center is an In-Color Dahlia.

Yea, it is spring!

Bloomin' Marvelous Greeting Card

stamp with trude

I used the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set on this card. It includes a humming bird, a flower and a couple more sentiments. It was free with a Sale-a-bration order of $50.00. Stampin' Up! has a Sale-a-bration every year around the first of the year.

Interesting Card Background Technique

stamp with trude
What do you think about this background paper? It has been many years since I tried this, but I wanted to show something different to some friends that I was stamping with, so I pulled out the materials and went to work.

I used stitch witchery, a heat gun and gold embossing powder.

Can you imagine some other combinations of Stampin' Up! card stock and embossing powder? I can. Maybe I could try Crumb Cake card stock and Early Espresso embossing powder.

I layered two Stampin' Up! punched butterflies. I used silver glimmer paper on the top one.

Bootiful Occasions Encouragement Card

So far these are the cards that I have made with this set. Now that I have posted them together I realize one thing; they are all blue! I am going to have to use some of the other Stampin' Up! colors and paper and mix it up a little!

Stamp With Trude
For this one I used the Rain or Shine stamp set's rain drops to add a few sprinkles coming from the clouds on the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper. I also used an umbrella from the same set to stamp inside with the sentiment (Call Me if You Need an Umbrella).

The rain boot is the new one that I created from the set and below are the ones that I created previously with the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.

The cowboy boots card would be great for guys or girls young and old. So many things you can do with it.
I made this shimmery one for chilly January days. It says Warm Winter Wishes on the front but the shimmer from the smootch spray makes it hard to read in the photo.

I had my own chilly day yesterday. I went snowshoeing  with my husband and friends. We went about 5 miles on crunchy snow on Mt. Hood. Sun was peeking through the branches of trees, tiny flakes were being blown off the branches and hungry birds were eating our peanut snacks.
