Gently Falling Fall Card

Here's a card for the Paper Players weekly challenge.
I used the Gently Falling stamp set from Stampin' Up! The technique that I used for the leaf panels is spritzing. I used a Stampin' Spritzer filled to within 3/4 inch of the threaded top with rubbing alcohol and then added about 20- 25 drops of Early Espresso reinker. Shake, then spritz over white card stock panels.

The other technique that I used was for the stamped leaves. I first inked them with Stampin' Classic Crushed Curry ink. Then I used a Stampin' Sponge and a Stampin' Classic Pumpkin Pie ink pad to sponge some orange around the edges of the leaf. Don't you love how that technique turns out?

Truly Grateful card with Birch Paper

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Thanksgiving, fall,
This is one of the cards I created for Susie's workshop. We had a fun evening! Wish you could have been there. We used the Stampin' Up! set- Truly Grateful.

I know I have said it several times already, but I really like the birch paper that is in the Thankful Tablescape kit. I hope that Stampin' Up! will have some of it in the next annual catalog. Right now the only way to get it for use is to buy the Tablescape kit.

The brown band is also from the Thankful Tablescape kit. The other products are in the annual catalog. I used the scallop border punch, very vanilla seam binding, Whisper White card stock, Early Espresso card stock, and an Antique brad. I used Sahara Sand ink for the sheaf of wheat and Early Espresso in for the sentiment.

When your order from my online Stampin' Up! store is $50.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) you get a Star Crafter Award. You will get a Star Crafter Award for each $50.00 you spend on a single order. (Different orders cannot be combined to earn a Star Crafter Award).

Fall Thank You Card

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Thanksgiving, fall,
This card is made with pieces from the Thankful Tablescape kit from Stampin' Up! The way it is intended to be used is as decorations for your Thanksgiving table and it does a beautiful job. But, I am not going to be having Thanksgiving at my home this year, so I decided to see what else I could do with the kit. This is one of the cards that I made. I used a Mojo Monday Sketch for the layout. Have you tried Mojo Monday Sketches yet? They're fabulous! This one is from the 2010 collection.

I  Used the leaf and the brown chevron paper strips from the Tablescape kit. I also used Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper, Soft Suede card stock, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Soft Suede ribbon and an Antique Brad.

Fall Celebration Card

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Thanksgiving, fall,

This Stampin' Up! card could be used as a Thanksgiving card or as a Birthday card equally well. I used items from the Thanksgiving Tablescape kit to create this card. I also used  Freshly Made Sketch 102.

The tablescape kit has so many items in it. I will not be using it to decorate my table for Thanksgiving because I have had so much fun finding other uses for all the elements!

Have a blessed day,

Trude

Make a Cake Birthday Card

Stamp with Trude, Make a Cake, Stampin' Up!, birthday card
Here's a nice bold Stampin' Up! birthday card. For this card I used the Make a Cake stamp set, the En Francais single background stamp and the Polka Stampin' Around wheel.
Make A Cake Stamp set
En Francais stamp

Polka Stampin' Around builder wheel
I used this builder wheel to created the polka dot strip on the left side of the card.
Chalk Talk Framelits
I love this set of framelits. They make such nice tags and the set is even more versatile with the different hole frametlits that you can place wherever you like in the tags.
Large Scallop Edgelits

I cut a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock to tuck under the edge of the Polka dot strip. I used this Large Scallop Edgelit.

The Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding gives the card the finishing pop of color. I love this seam binding too. It is so easy to work with.

This card is a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" size.

Wetlands Thinking of You Card

The idea for this Stampin' Up! card that I am sharing with you today came from Stampin' Up! demo Amy K. You can see the original at www.stampwithamyk.com

I did a few switches of card base paper, background stamp and embellishment, but it is basically the same card..

This Wetland stamp set is such a great stamp set for masculine cards. When I first saw it in the catalog I thought, "Oh, that is interesting," but I didn't get it. It wasn't until I started seeing fantastic cards on Pinterest, that used this set, that I decided I had to have it.

For this card I used:
Basic White cardstock as a base
Soft Suede cardstock as a mat
Pool Party cardstock as the card front
I stamped the tall grass with Versa Mark watermark ink
I stamped the sentiment and Sand Pipers with Soft Suede ink
I used an antique brad as an embellishment
I used the X large oval punch to punch out the sentiment

I would love to be your demonstrator if you are looking for one!

When you place an order in my online store that totals $50.00 or more (not including shipping and taxes) you will receive a Star Crafter's award. When you have 10 awards you can choose $30.00 of product from the catalog for FREE! See the details by clicking the tab at the top of the blog.

Happy Day!
