I bought this set from my neighbor's garage sale last Friday. Thought I would create a card for Throwback Thursday. It's not like I needed to purchase another Stampin' Up! stamp set, it was just a good deal and a set that I didn't have. It has an herb border stamp too.

Products I used:
Sweet Herbs stamp set
Tuxedo Black Momento ink pad
Stampin' Blendabilities- Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Wisteria Wonder, Light Wild Wasabi, Medium Wild Wasabi
Washi Tape
Cajun Craze cardstock

Stampin' Up! has had quite a bit of "Coloring" paper lately. Paper that you can color with markers, ink pads, sponges, and spray bottles were the first to come out. Now there is paper that you can color with crayons and colored pencils in addition to the other techniques.

Here's a card that Kim made with the colorable Sale-A-Bration paper. Love it! Thanks for sharing. She filled in the background too!

Have a blessed day,
Trude

Tuesday Tutorial #108 Weather Together

This stamp set is so fun! I have created several cards with it. This time I decided I wanted to try something different so I created a Wedding Shower card. It is hard to tell from the photo, but there is Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper behind the stamped banner. If you click on the photo you can probably see it better.

Have a blessed day,

This card is different than most of the cards I get from my friends. I usually get stamped cards, but this is one of those multi-layered 3D cards and it was created by my friend Betty, from Delaware, for my birthday.

Thanks Betty! This is a pretty card.

I have never created this type of card. Have you?

Have a blessed day,
Trude

Friday Friend Share

Continuing with the ocean theme that I have going on my blog this week, I decided to post this Orca card by my friend Jeannie.

I haven't used the dies that create the medallion. They look interesting. I think I could figure out many ways to use them.

Thanks for the fun card, Jeannie.

Have a blessed day,
Trude

Tuesday Tutorial #106 Seas the Day

Last week, when it was over 100* for 3 days in a row, the beach was a very popular place to be. It is still in the 80's there, but that is wonderful weather on the Oregon Coast.
I always enjoy going to the coast and would love to have been there last week. The traffic was very bad; bumper to bumper for most of the way between Beaverton and the beach. That's the main reason that I didn't go.

I just stayed home and created a beachy card instead.
