Cricut Shaker Card

I made this fall card with a Cricut and a Big Shot. I cut out the folded card base using the 3 1/2 inch circle original Sizzix die and the light brown with the Cricut.

Shaker cards are not real hard to make. Especially if you can find the clear popped up circles to put the shaker elements in.

Happy stamping!

New Baby Girl Congratulations Card

This is a cute shaped card. Put the top shoulders on the seam and leave them intact. Cut or punch a hole for the neck, cut and shape the rest of the card front. I covered the front of a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card with printed paper before I cut the card out. I cut a pocket, attached it to the little dress, punched a heart out and adhered it to the pocket. Finally I punched small holes in the shoulders and tied ribbon loosely through them and into bows.

Treasures from the Sea card

click photo to view details
I used a Cuttlebug to emboss the card front and to cut out the sea shells at the bottom of the card. The other sea shells are stamped and colored with color pencils and the colors are blended with a pencil blender. I like shells, ocean, and marine subjects and this is a favorite card. The background is embossed with a birthday folder and would be a perfect card for a man.

Pull Out Card

This card is made with two parts. There is a sleeve and a tag that goes in the sleeve. The tag has a ribbon threaded through the hole in the tab and through the hole in the sleeve. It allows the tag to slide out but not completely come out of the sleeve. The ladies in class loved making this card. It is fun but not complicated.

Memories of the Sea card

Click photo to see details

I like this stamp. It is an all-in-one stamp. It makes a good masculine birthday card. I stamped this one on craft paper and then  used chalks  to color it in. I used some white on the background around the main image but I left it very light and streaky instead of trying to fill the background with color. I like how it turned out. On the inside I stamped a birthday sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sweet Note Card

This is a sweet little note card. I punched the window out with a square punch, put pencil dots at the four corners on the inside of the window (on the white paper on the inside of card) and then I opened the card and stamped the flowers between my guide (pencil dots). That's the hardest part! Use a decorative punch along the opening edge and stamp some flowers on the inside of the card along the edge.

Have a Happy Day!

Simple Thank You Card

click to see details (smudge, LOL)
This does not have to be a Christmas Thank you card. I just happened to make it after Christmas for the purpose of sending a Thank you for Christmas presents. It could be made with floral paper or birthday paper or wedding paper. It is quick and easy, which is a plus for any type of occasion that requires more than one of two thank yous to be sent. Just choose three coordinating papers and a coordinating ribbon. I used 2 prints and one solid, plus the neutral color to stamp the sentiment on. This was a class card sample.

Falling Leaves card

The rust background is sprayed with copper smooch spray before attaching to the card base for this card. Then I cut 4 tan squares, rounded the corners, stamped leaves and "Fall" on them and adhered them to the rust paper. I used a Spellbinder die to die cut the leaf and then embossed it with the same Spellbinder die. I rubbed some ink across the embossed veins and adhered it to the center of the card front. Easy. Done.

This card would be okay without the wire, beads and eyelets but with them it is just a step up.

Background is stamped with Versa Mark ink and the art piece is embossed with pine green embossing powder. Add a rhinestone to the star at the top of the tree.

Love this bug stamp set by Stampin' Up! Too bad it is no longer available unless you find it on an auction site. This is a get well card. On the outside I stuck a clear label from my label maker that says, "Caught a bug?" On the inside I stamped, "Get Well Soon!"

Quick and easy card.

Butterfly Birthday Wish card

click on photo to see details

This is an easy card to make. I stamped one butterfly stamp along the edge of a folded card. Then I cut just below the butterflies to shape the edge and to allow the inside color to peek out. I adhered a ribbon above the butterflies, stamped Wish above that and then stamped a birthday greeting inside.

Have a blessed day,

Trude

Spellbinder Die-Cut Valentine

I cut the two layers of the valentine with Spellbinder dies. then I layered and stamped on them. I created a triangle sleeve to hold the valentine. I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch out the lock and key.

This one takes a little longer because of the Cricut die cutting. It is a fun card with a unique holder.

Enjoy,

Trude

We Love You Greeting Card

I used collage paper for this card. I cut 2 labels with Spellbinder dies, cut them in half, layered them and stamped the sentiment. I adhered printed paper to a square card base, adhered a gold strip on top and bottom of the collage paper and adhered it to the printed paper on the card base. Next I wrapped and tied a piece of ribbon around the front of the card. Finally, I adhered the layered labels and embellished with 3 flowers.

Happy Stamping,

Winter Card

This can be a Christmas card or a winter greeting. It has several stamps combined to create a winter scene. I used one stamp with trees and hills and embossed it with white glitter embossing powder. Then I stamped a line of snow men. After that I stamped the sledder. I Then stamped the greeting and filled in with a couple of glittery snowflakes.

Dreaming of cooler days, I guess.

Cute Daisy Kingdom Sailor Bears Card

This card is made with a vintage stamp from Daisy Kingdom. I folded gloss white card stock and stamped near the fold. Then I cut around the bears and colored them. I adhered the folded card to a piece of card stock that was layered with printed paper. I stamped "AHOY" inside the folded bear card.

Turned out very cute to send a friendly "Hi".

Happy Stamping,

Trude

Quick Valentine

I used a card that was pre-embossed with hearts. I ran a stamp pad over it to highlight the embossing and then punched a couple of holes at the top of the card front and ran a piece of ribbon through it to make a bow. Then, I stamped a red square of paper with white chalk ink and adhered it to the center. And finally, I stamped a valentine sentiment inside.

Happy day!

Birthday Card Quick and Easy

This is an uncomplicated card for when you need a card NOW. Just layer a solid color card stock on a folded card base. Then layer a printed paper that has the top 2 corners rounded. Now stamp a balloon or party hat or birthday cake on the printed paper and again on a solid color of card stock. Cut the card stock stamped item out and adhere it over the one stamped on the printed paper. Now stamp a birthday greeting onto a solid paper/ card stock and cut it in the shape of a banner. Adhere it to the card front. If you have a nice birthday sentiment, stamp it on the inside and you are ready to go to the party!

Enjoy the fun!

I like this stamp. You stamp it several times, color, cut and layer it. Click on the image to see the card up close.

Fun Flower Card

This picture is dark, so click on it to see the full view. You can see the details better that way.

I think the strip at the bottom might be a Martha Stewart punch. I'm not sure what any of the other items manufacturers are.

Stamp some fun today,
Trude
