PPA205 Sea Street Baby Card

I'm going to post my Tuesday share late Monday night because I won't have time to post this in the morning.
This is the sketch challenge from Pals Paper Arts. I decided I wanted to do a monotone card but didn't want to do white, which led me to create this baby card. However, I think I might remake this card and make it a white on white with the Marina Mist accents.

Mojo Monday 345 Sea Street Birthday Card

I went a little bit crazy today. I wanted to do some Sea Street cards that weren't the standard colors, you know, the ones that are in the Designer Series Paper that goes with this stamp set. I really do love the colors of the DSP, but after awhile you want to see something different.

So, I started by making one card, then I wondered what it would look like in another color combination, and pretty soon I had made four cards the same, only with different colors.

First I used the color combination from Hand Stamped Sentiments. I think it turned out pretty cute. It would be great for my grand niece.

Then I tried the color combination from Pals Paper Arts. This is a much stronger combination and I think it would work well for one of my grand nephews.

Then I thought I would try the set with the color challenge from Sunday Stamps. It is a high contrast combination but I think I could find some young ladies that would love these. I say 'these' because I tried a couple of different combinations of the colors. Which one do you like?

I guess that is all for today. Thanks for checking it out!

Teeny Tiny Wishes #PPA189

You may be making your Valentines today, but I am already thinking ahead to next month! Here's the first St. Pat's day card that I have created for this year. I made it for my entry to Pals Paper Arts Sketch challenge #189.

Have you tried this tissue paper flower technique with your Big shot?
The tissue paper flower was created with the Stampin' Up! pansy punch and the Floral Frames Collection dies.
I folded tissue paper so that there were 8 layers then punched it out with the pansy punch. Then I folded the tissue into 8 layers and put it through the Big Shot with the 2nd from the smallest flower. Then I layered the 2 sets, punched a hole in the center, inserted a brad and scrunched the tissue layers.

Here's the list of supplies I used for this card:

Easter Greeting Card

Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Easter, Bunny, spring
This is the card I made for this week's Pals Paper Arts layout challenge (PPA155).
I used Lucky Limeade card stock, Calypso Coral Designer Series paper stack, and Basic White card stock.
I like this realistic bunny stamp from Stampin' Up! It is a single stamp that is available until the end of March-2013, just a few more days.
