For today's Tuesday Tutorial I used the Detailed Floral Framelits and the Floral Phrases stamp set. I haven't used this bundle much yet. I look forward to doing more cards with it.
My friend, Jeannie, knows that I like the beach and everything about it. We both like lighthouses, beach scenes and marine life cards. Here's one that she made for me using a lighthouse stamp. I love the little shell brads too.
The new Stampin' Up! spring Occasions Catalog has a lighthouse stamp set in it. I'm sure I will be making a lighthouse card in the near future!
Journal It! 233 Then next prompt for your journal is... Do you have a favorite poem? Write it down or if it is really long you can just write your favorite lines. Write the prompt in your journal and Journal It!
Here it is another Tuesday! Time flies when you're having fun, the saying goes. All the snow days we've had this month has helped me stay home so that I could catch up on all my projects and blogging. Actually my most time consuming project is this blog. I don't know how people keep up with their project creations, video creations and blog posts! I guess they are more organized than I am. Enough talk! Here's this week's Tuesday Tutorial! ☺
Here's a cute Valentine. Don't you just love the little Hedgehogs? They are so cute! I'm not sure which company manufactured this stamp. There are several that have sold Hedgehog stamps, including Stampin' Up!.
Journal It! 232 Here's a good one! ☺ What's your favorite joke, or the best one you've heard recently? Write the prompt in your journal and Journal It!
Have you seen the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle yet? I think there are going to be some wonderful pins on Pinterest with this set!
That is the set that I chose to use for the Tuesday Tutorial this week and the photo of this card does not do the card justice. It has clear Wink of Stella on the wings to make them sparkle.
Have you started building your birthday card stash for this year's birthdays? It's one thing on my to-do list. I am going to be including at least one birthday card in each card class for the next few months! Here is a birthday card that was created by my friend Eileen. It is simple elegance. Don't know what company manufactured these stamps.
The new 2017 Occasions catalog has so many birthday stamp sets! It's amazing. What is your favorite set in the new catalog?
It's so hard to choose. I think I NEED all of them☺.
If you
are my customer and haven't received your new catalog, please let me
know. If you want to be my customer and make a purchase from my online store, I will send you a catalog. Don't miss out on all the Sale-A-Bration fun!
It's Sale-A-Bration! So many free items to choose from when you purchase $50.00 of Stampin' Up! merchandise. And with EACH $50.00 you spend, you get to choose another free item! This is my favorite time of the year!
We're gearing up for Valentine's Day now.
The new 2017 Occasions catalog has gone live and there are so many stamp sets that I want to create with. Today I am using products from the Sending Love Suite. Pool Party really looks great with the Real Red. It makes a great combination.
To begin the new year's friend shares I am sharing one from my friend, Jeannie. I always love her cards. She likes to create scenic cards. And she loves the outdoors and animals. So, many of her cards are created around those themes.
Isn't the card fantastic? The background is created with melted waxes. I don't know the technique (I believe it is called encaustic?). I wish I lived close to her so that she could teach me!
I don't know what company she purchased the Manatee stamps from. If you know, please leave a note in the comments. Thank you.
Journal It! 230 The first journal prompt for the new year is... Have you ever done anything that was spiritually fulfilling? Tell about it. Write the prompt in your journal and Journal It!
Happy New Year! This is the first Tuesday Tutorial of a new year. We have to get going on our valentines, so that is what I am sharing today. There are other occasions that would be appropriate for a heart card, so it doesn't have to be used for a valentine.
