Gingham Garden Encouragement Card

I created a card for the Sunday Stamps Challenge that continued the use of the Gingham Garden DSP. The Gingham Garden paper pack is perfect for spring cards and other paper projects. It will be fun to see what new spring papers that Stampin' Up! will have in the new catalog when it comes out in June.

I used the bird from the Backyard Basics set and then when I checked the retired list this morning I found out that the Backyard Basic set is sold out and no longer available. I like this bird because it is realistic and can be colored in so many ways. Stampin' Up! greeting card by Trude Thoman Blessing from Heaven stamp set

  1. Lovely spring inspired card! I too can't wait to see what new DSP's will be in the new catalogue! Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us at Sunday Stamps!

  2. I love how you stamped the sentiment in two different colors, the trims you used and of course, the beautifully colored bird! Thanks for playing along with us at Sunday Stamps--please join us again soon.

  3. Love the bird on your card! Great coloring and your paper looks great! Thanks so much for joining us at Sunday Stamps with your creation.

  4. Very nice spring feeling card. I love the combination of elements you used in the middle. I wouldn't have thought to use a border punch - it works perfectly! Thanks for playing with us at Sunday Stamps.
