Oh, Whale! Greeting Card
Today's card is one that I created for this week's color challenge at the Paper Players.
I used the new stamp set Oh, Whale! from Stampin' Up!
If you haven't tried a challenge, I would encourage you to do it! Your creativity will get a boost and you will have some fun in the process.

Super cute, Trude. I love the what wallowing in his wavy background! I love the little anchor on the sentiment, too. So glad you shared this fabulous card with the Paper Players this week

Thanks Jaydee. I would never have thought of using those colors together. I think it is great to challenge ourselves to try color combinations and techniques that we wouldn't normally think of. Thanks for the inspiration.
DeleteOh this little whale is so cute! He looks perfect swimming in all those pacific point waves--what a workout your stamp-a-ma-jig received! Love the inset sentiment too...Thank you for joining us at the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, yes, I do have a stamp-a-ma-jig, I just never remember to use it. I LOVE the clear mount stamps! The sentiment has the illusion of being inset because of the gray that I edged the punched yellow square with. The whale and the sentiment are actually popped up with dimensionals.
DeleteSo cute, Trude! This little whale hasn't made it to my stamp collection yet, but you've got me thinking about it. The little greeting is the perfect addition. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy, I got the stamp set because I thought it would make a cute baby card. I hadn't even planned to make something like this. That's what's so great about the Paper Players challenges! I'll be participating again.
