By the Seashore Christmas Card

We actually did get some snow today! The wind didn't quit, so the snow was blowing away until the freezing rain started. It has been 30° all day.

First we got some snow...

Then we got the freezing rain!

Hope it was warmer where you are!

Here's my project to share today.

It is a Christmas Tree that I created with the  Stampin' Up! stamp set, By the Seashore. I'm usually wishing I was by the seashore! ☺ I keep looking through my stamp sets to see which ones I can use to create unconventional Christmas cards and this was one that I came up with.

Products I used
Kraft paper
Soft Sky card stock
Very Vanilla card stock
Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder
Crumb Cake classic stampin' ink pad
Pearls basic jewels
By the Seashore stamp set

See what's new at my Stampin' Up! online store.
Thank you for dropping by today!
Have a blessed day,
Trude

  1. Found this as I was searching SU Christmas Cards - it's beautiful! I have a question: did you attach the seashells, then run everything through the embossing folder? Or were they added later? I couldn't tell from the photo. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Thank you for your interest and comments. I embossed the background before I attached the seashells.

  3. I adore this card! What are the cardstock dimensions? I'm having a little trouble fitting the shells just right.

  4. It seems too tall for the embossing folder. What are the measurements?

  5. It is too tall for the embossing folder. I embossed it twice. The card base is 4 3/8" x 7 5/8"
