And here's another piece of card candy (DIY embellishment) that I created with the Pop of Paradise stamp set.
This piece of card candy photographed a bit better than the previous one. I embossed this with White embossing powder to which I added Dazzling Diamond glitter. I love that sparkly look. I also used a chalk marker to outline the banner and add the details.

Pop of Paradise Card Candy # 2
Here's the second piece of card candy (DIY embellishments) that I created with the Pop of Paradise stamp set. This little pineapple is a challenge for me. I don't really know what to do with it on a card. I thought it worked out okay with this piece though and maybe now that I have created the embellishment I will be able to design a card to use it on.
The largest scalloped oval is gold foil paper. It is so hard to photograph the shiny items on cards! I think it looks much better when you actually see it, than when you look at the photo.
The second oval layer is Delightful Dijon. The top oval is Crushed Curry. The pineapple is stamped in Crushed Curry and Garden Green and the banner is stamped in Daffodil Delight.
Have a blessed day,
Trude

Pop of Paradise Card Candy- #1
What do you do with Card Candy? You create cards! I'm not real sure of the history of Card Candy but I think it may have had something to do with either trading sets with other stampers, or just that Stampin' Up! demonstrators created sets to give away at their classes and workshops as little bonuses. That is what I have used them for, little bonuses for my customers...card starters.
supplies:
- Whisper White cardstock
- watercolor paper- for the window frame die
- Pop of Paradise stamp set
- Wild Wasabi ink pad
- Soft Sky ink pad
- So Saffron ink pad
- Pool Party ink pad
- Flirty Flamingo ink pad
- Garden Green marker
- Window framelit
- 1 3/8" circle punch
- fine-tip glue pen
- dimensionals
- Wink of Stella- clear
- Stampin' sponges

Baby Buggy Something for Baby Card
Something for Baby stamp set is a go-to stamp set for creating baby cards. This baby buggy in the Stampin' Up! set is such a classic stamp. I decided to do this card in Mint Macaron, an In-Color that was added last year, and Sweet Sugarplum, the most popular In-Color that was added in the current catalog. I like the color combination and if I want it to look a little more masculine, all I have to do is switch out the Sweet Sugarplum on the buggy and use the Mint Macaron instead!

Tuesday Tutorial # 54 Autumn Thanks Banner card
It's Tuesday again and that means it's time for another tutorial!
I used Crazy About You, a stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I am really enjoying the sunshine, but I got an idea for this card and just had to make it! Autumn will be here soon enough, whether I like it or not!
You can get the tutorial now by using this link.

You've Got This! Stampin' Up! Encouragement card
Here's another card created with the You've Got This stamp set. I think this may be the second card I have created with this set. The flower is so big that it pretty much has to be used by itself. It does make very elegant cards though.
Here's another card that I created with this set.

Flourishing Phrases Sympathy card
Here's a sympathy card that I made using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating thinlit dies.
I must confess that I wasn't making it as an example of Stampin' Up!s great products. I was making it because, unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card. So, not all of the products are Stampin' Up! The Blackberry Bliss cardstock is retired. The ribbon is some that I purchased at a local craft store. And the embossing powder is also from a local craft store. Oh yes, the parchment paper is from a stationery set that I have had for a long time. So basically, the framelits, stamp set and cardstock are the only Stampin' Up! items. But this card can easily be switched up so that all the products are Stampin' Up!, it would just be a little different.
The card design came from Lyssa Zwolanek.

One Big Meaning with Swirls
How much have you been using the Wink of Stella? Have you used several tubes? I am sure trying to use mine as much as possible because it adds that special touch and just brings almost every project up a notch. I used it on the swirly scribbles die cuts on this card.
The card base is the new Sweet Sugarplum In-Color. I like is a lot. It has red undertones instead of the blue ones in the Wisteria Wonder.
The sentiment with the beautiful font is from the One Big Meaning stamp set. The dots are from the Timeless Textures set and the die cut flowers and leaves are from the Flower Fair framelits set.

I based this card on a design that I saw in the previous Stampin' Up! Annual catalog. The layout is much the same, but the stamps, papers, and colors are different.
The Flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set and the Sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. The cardstock colors are: Rose Red, Wisteria Wonder, Garden Green and Whisper White.

The first card that I have created with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. I used the new In-Color Sweet Sugarplum.
