Boy's Greeting Card

A little something different today. This is not a Stampin' Up! card. I was having fun designing cards for a friend to use at a summer camp. She gives them to the children as they arrive. This one is for the boys. It is BRIGHT neon.
Stamp with Trude, greeting card
The layout is simple and can be easily copied for other cards. The splatter background was a Rollagraph wheel that I used to add color and to fill the white space. The neon paper and paper accent strip were originally card stock sheets from a "design your own notebook kit". Yup, I use all kinds of fun stuff in my card making!

Well, that's my share for the day. I hope you enjoyed it. Would love to hear from some of you. Just click the place where it says "No comments" and it should open a comment box.

Have a Terrific Tuesday,
Trude

Fall Gift Bag

gift bag, Thanksgiving, Stamp with Trude, Stampin' Up!, Perfectly Penned
Click photo to enlarge

This Fall themed bag is great for many different fall occasions. I used the new Stampin' Up! Thankful Tablescape Simply Created kit on page 18 of the holiday catalog.

There is some lovely birch paper in the kit. It is intended for the centerpiece candle, but I am going to make some cards with it so keep checking back!

This is the kit:

The kit also contains some plastic tags that look like chalk boards. I used the banner shaped ones to emboss the Perfectly Penned sentiment for my gift bag. I also used the place-card background paper to create the base for the gift bag tag. The lovely leaf came from the set too! This kit contains a bunch of creative elements that can be used from cardmaking or scrapbooking. Or, you can use it to create a lovely table for Thanksgiving!

I would love to be your demonstrator and/or Stampin' Up! demonstrator team leader!

Thanks for stopping by,

Trude

Festive Flurry Christmas Card

I was stamping with a friend the other day and we used a Mojo Monday sketch with some new Stampin' Up! stamps to create this card.

Stamp with Trude, Mojo Monday, Festive Flurry, More Merry Messages, Stampin' Up!, Christmas card
It isn't a complicated card. We also used the same Mojo Monday sketch (week 208?) on the card I posted two days ago. If you look at it, you will see the minor changes we made.

I think it would look great with a bow on the lower right triangle. I may have to make another card and see how that would look.

I used a greeting from last year's Christmas season, which is still available, More Merry Messages.

I used it a lot last year. I haven't ordered the new greeting sets for this year yet, so I will probably still use this set. It is a very good and versatile set.

The snowflake is from the new catalog and the set is called Festive Flurry. They also made framelits so that we can easily cut them out, which you can see that I did here. I am really happy about that. What makes me even happier is that Stampin' Up! has bundled the stamp set and the framelits so that you save 15%. Awesome!

I used Marina Mist card stock, Very Vanilla card stock and Marina Mist dots from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series paper pack. The brad is from the Brights Glimmer Brads set.

Very Merry Christmas Gift Tags

I had my first ever customer appreciation event last week. I had a make-and-take to help my customers get off to a good start with their Christmas preparations. I used the new Stampin' Up! stamp set, Very Merry Tags and the matching punches. Stampin' Up! is making it very easy for us to get all our gift tags made. They are even selling the tag bases so all you have to do is create and embellish!

The two tags on the right side of the lower photo were created with the Stampin' Up! tag bases. The other tag bases in both photos were created with a Sizzix die.

Magnificent Maple Thanksgiving Card

Hello Crafters,
I have been away, having FUN! A little different fun than playing with Stampin' Up! stamps and supplies, but just as fun.
I have been playing with my grandson. Something I can't do every day because he lives 1600 miles away from me. Yes, I know, it could be worse!

Wouldn't you rather play with him than stamps?

Okay, it is back to stamping because I am back home now.

Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! catalog?

What is your favorite new item in the holiday catalog? Leave me a message. I would love to know.

Here is a card I made with the Magnificent Maple stamp and the Tags 4 U stamp set. I also used the matching label punch.

Stamp with Trude, Magnificent Maple, Thanksgiving card, Stampin' Up!
This is a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card (finished size).
I used Cajun Craze card stock for the base; Pumpkin Pie Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper; Very Vanilla card stock; Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Ink; Cajun Craze Classic Stampin' ink; and a soft suede marker for the leaf stem/veins.

Check out my store if you need any supplies, I would love to be your demonstrator if you are looking for one!
