Thanks Mate Mojo Monday Card

It's Monday, and that means that there is another Mojo Monday sketch to try. This week I am combining it with the Paper Players theme challenge, thank you cards.
I thought I would use some nautical Stampin' Up! stamps with this sketch. How often do you see a masculine thank you card? Well, I thought I would give it a try. What do you think?

Mojo Monday, Paper Players, Stamp with Trude, Thanks Mate, Stampin' Up!, masculine, Thank you card

I'm really lovin' the new Stampin' Up! Hardwood stamp. I'll try not to use it too much, but the size of the grain is just perfect for card-making. It doesn't overwhelm the other elements on the card.

I used the ship and the compass rose from the Open Sea stamp set. The banner, sentiment and circle outline around the compass rose are all from the Settin' Sail photopolymer stamp set.

It was fun to see Bulgaria, Italy and Netherlands stopped by to check out my blog. And thanks for leaving comments. I enjoy reading what you have to say.

Stamp Happy Today!

    1. Thanks Kimberly. I was going to do the resist embossing technique on the card, but after I embossed it I liked that look so much that I called it good.

    1. Yes, the ribbon worked for this card. I usually am hesitant to put ribbon on masculine cards but this just finished it off.
