Trust God Greeting Card

I created this card with new In-Color card stock and Designer Series Paper. The Sentiment is a carry-over from the previous catalog; it is from the Trust God stamp set. The sunshine is from the new stamp set, Ray of Sunshine.

I used Lost Lagoon card stock for the background. I stamped the flourish from Everything Eleanore with the VersaMark watermark ink pad. It's a great way to create a tone-on-tone effect.

Here's my revised version of this card. I decided that I wanted to see what it would look like with the yellow card stock instead of the pink. I'm not sure that it is better or worse...I think it is just different.

  1. What a great way to use the sun image! Love how it's stamped only in the corner--really pulls in the color from the paper nicely. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. Terrific stamping! The tone-on-tone effect adds detail without overpowering the design with too many patterns. Very pretty! So glad you shared your creation at The Paper Players.
