Lego Birthday Card

Remember a couple of weeks ago when Boys Will Be Boys stamp set was one of the Weekly Deals? Well, I took advantage of the deal and bought the set. Here is my first card using it. I'm sure I will be putting it to good use, I have many nieces and nephews and a grandson that enjoy playing with Lego style building blocks.

Trude Thoman, Stampin' Up!, stamp with trude, Boys Will Be Boys, Lego style building blocks, Birthday card, masculine

Yes, I went for a simple composition for this one. Most boys don't care about all the froof anyway, so I kept it basic with no ribbons or fluff.

I had planned to use the Modern Label punch to punch the sentiment out of the Garden Green card stock, but it is a tad too long for the punch, so I opted for the framelit from the Project Life Framelit set. I like how it looks and it is not as fussy as the Modern Label punch.

Products I used:
Paper- Daffodil Delight card stock, Pacific Point card stock, Real Red card stock, Whisper White card stock, Garden Green card stock
Stamps- Boys will be Boys
Ink- Momento Black ink pad, Craft White ink pad, Blendabilities markers
Other- Large Polka Dot embossing folder, Project Life framelits, Dimensionals

All these products are available at my stampin' store.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a blessed day,

  1. Cool card! Perfect for nieces and nephews, great colors and design!!

  2. Thanks Amy. I've pinned several Lego cards to my Pinterest board, but they were created with punches and pop dots. I think this Stampin' Up! set with the Lego style building blocks are easy to make cards with.
