By the Seashore Greeting Card
Here's another project that I created this week using the Stampin' Up! By the Seashore stamp set.
The Designer Series paper is from the Stampin' Up! 2015 spring Occasions catalog. It is called Something Borrowed and the designs are perfect for wedding occasions, but I like how it looks on this card too.
I used the masking technique for most of the shells on this card.
Be sure to check out the Star Crafter award tab at the top of the page to see what benefits you get by letting me be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
Have a blessed day,
Trude

By the Seashore Treat Bag
I've been having fun creating projects with the By the Seashore stamp set. Here's the first of 4 projects, using this Stampin' Up! set, that I will be sharing with you. It's a treat bag and a gift tag.
I used the Chevron gift bag and stamped a bunch of shells on Whisper White card stock. The little dots are sparkly, but it doesn't really show up well in the photo. I used a 1/4" circle punch and a 1/8" circle punch to punch circles from Dazzling Details Glimmer paper and scattered them around the piled shells.
For the tag, I used the chevron embossing folder and some Sahara Sand ink rubbed on with a sponge dauber. The dots on the tag are punched from gold foil paper. The strings are linen thread.

Welcome Banner Vintage Style
This is the Welcome Banner that was created for this month's banner class.
You will notice in the close-up shots that there are a few items that are not Stampin' Up! I wanted a vintage look and I just kept adding things. I have some Stampin' Up! buttons on there, but added some from my collection of extra buttons. I also added some beads around the buttons to fill it in a little. The beads are also not Stampin' Up! And I must confess that I do not have any Stampin' Up! Alphabet stamps or dies...well, I do, but they are tucked away on another shelf because Stampin' Up! retired my sets and I haven't replaced them with the new sets. I pulled out some rub-ons that I had from years ago and used them. But if you have Stampin' Up! letters or dies you can use them. If you use the letter stamps just stamp the letters with white craft ink, wait for them to dry (or use a heat tool to hurry the process) and then color over the letters with your desired color of Blendabilities. Works beautifully!
Products I used:
Baked Brown Sugar card stock, Very Vanilla card stock, Basic Black card stock, Typset Specialty Designer Series paper, Natural Filter paper, Gold Baker's twine, Linen thread, Regals and Subtles Designer Buttons, Stampin' Sponges, Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' ink pad, Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' ink pad, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, Project Life corner punch, Beautifully Baroque embossing folder, Stampin' Up! Bigz Large doily die (retired), sewing machine to ruffle filter paper, Pary Pennants Bigz L die

Lego Birthday Card
Remember a couple of weeks ago when Boys Will Be Boys stamp set was one of the Weekly Deals? Well, I took advantage of the deal and bought the set. Here is my first card using it. I'm sure I will be putting it to good use, I have many nieces and nephews and a grandson that enjoy playing with Lego style building blocks.
Yes, I went for a simple composition for this one. Most boys don't care about all the froof anyway, so I kept it basic with no ribbons or fluff.
I had planned to use the Modern Label punch to punch the sentiment out of the Garden Green card stock, but it is a tad too long for the punch, so I opted for the framelit from the Project Life Framelit set. I like how it looks and it is not as fussy as the Modern Label punch.
Products I used:
Paper- Daffodil Delight card stock, Pacific Point card stock, Real Red card stock, Whisper White card stock, Garden Green card stock
Stamps- Boys will be Boys
Ink- Momento Black ink pad, Craft White ink pad, Blendabilities markers
Other- Large Polka Dot embossing folder, Project Life framelits, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a blessed day,
Trude

1 Last Valentine Triple Play
Okay, I know that yesterday was Valentine's Day, but I still have one left to share.
This is a card that Brian King designed, I recreated it because I liked what he had done. I used heart rhinestone (not Stampin' Up!) where he used candy dots. And I used Shimmery White card stock where he used Whisper White. Other than that it is pretty much a direct case.
Then I wanted to see what it would look like with some of the other fun papers from the Stacked With Love Designer Series paper stack, so I created this one. It is the same layout that Brian created but the printed papers are different, and of course I used the Shimmery White card stock and the heart shaped rhinestones.
I thought this would be a fun one to give to my husband, but there was too much pink, so I used Brian King's same card layout and switched out the color of the card base.
Yup, that works for me!
List of products:
Papers- Pirouette Pink card stock, Real Red card stock, Shimmery White card stock, Stacked with Love Designer Series paper stack, Basic Black card stock
Stamp Set- You Plus Me
Ink- Whisper White craft ink
Other- Heart framelits collection, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Confetti heart punch, heart rhinestones (not Stampin' Up!)

Painted Petals Valentine
Next week is Valentine's Day. Are you ready? Here's a valentine that could be used for other occasions as well. It would be a cute birthday card or a sweet friendship card. Maybe it would make a nice anniversary card or a cheery greeting card for someone special.
The Painted Petals stamp set is a 2-step stamp set. I stamped the flowers first and then I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to put the stems where I wanted them.
Have you noticed the Confetti heart border punch in the spring Occasions catalog? I used it for the border at the bottom of the card, but I also used it to punch some tiny hearts out of red glimmer paper to use for the centers of the roses.
Products I used:
Paper- Real Red card stock, Whisper White card stock, Stacked with Love DSP paper stack,
--------red glimmer paper
Stamp Set- Painted Petals
Classic Stampin' ink- Real Red, Wild Wasabi
Other- 1/4" Real Red cotton ribbon, Confetti heart border punch

Crazy About You Father's Day Card
Yup, I know it is WAY too early to think about special days during the summer. But, I was pulling out stamps to stamp with that I hadn't used in a while, or not at all, and ended up doing a Father's Day card! I have a new set that is in the Stampin' Up! spring occasions catalog and it is called Crazy About You. It has Many different words and phrases in it that are interchangeable. I also have the Blue Ribbon stamp set that is in the annual catalog and haven't inked it up in awhile, so I decided to use them together. I also pulled out my Stampin' Up! Color Coach and started looking through it for some color combination ideas and decided to use this color combination.
I know it is hard to see in this photo, but I used the Confetti stars border punch to punch a bunch of tiny Silver stars from Silver Glimmer paper and then I scattered them over the card.
I used:
Paper: Pacific Point card stock, Daffodil Delight card stock, Whisper White card stock, Silver glimmer paper
Ink: Old Olive, Pacific Point
Marker: Daffodil Delight
Stamp Sets: Crazy About You, Blue Ribbon
Other: Washi Tape, Confetti Stars border punch

Choose Happiness Friendship Card
Here's a card I made today with a set that I haven't had a chance to use much and another set that I haven't previously used at all!
I wanted to create a card with the Banner Banter stamp set that has been in my drawer for probably a year. I just keep overlooking it whenever I design cards. I was looking at my other sets to see what I could put it with and saw the sentiment in the Choose Happiness stamp set. I thought they would work well together, so I created this card.
Paper- Cherry Cobbler card stock, Whisper White card stock, Lost Lagoon card stock
Ink- Cherry cobbler ink, Lost Lagoon ink, Jet Black Stazon ink
Stamp set- Choose Happiness, Banner Banter
Other- Banner framelit, banner punch, Stampin' sponge
I stamped off one time before stamping each branch on the card background. I didn't want the background to overwhelm the focal point.
Have a blessed day!
Trude
