Wednesday 201- Beyond the Basics

Hello,
Today I am going to share with you the wet wipe technique (also known as the baby wipe technique).
It is easy to do and adds another technique to your list of accomplishments!
I think this technique is a good one to learn because on certain stamps it can save a LOT of time. Last year I used it on a Christmas wreath stamp. Once you have the wet wipe inked up it is ready to do a bunch of cards before you need to reink it, so you can stamp a stack quickly.

Here's how:

Choose three or four reinkers. Here I am doing a fall card so I chose Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz.

Put the wet wipe on a plate and dot the wet wipe with reinkers randomly until you have an area inked that is the size of the stamp you will be using.

Ink up your stamp with the ink that is on the wet wipe. For this stamp I inked it and stamped it three times varying the angle of the stamp slightly each time.

Now, create your card!

The stamp set that I used for this card was Sheltering Tree. I also used the pumpkin thinlit that came with Square Pillow Box thinlits die set.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed day,
Trude
